This kit is not compatible together what they failed to tell you is that it has a MDS camshaft which an MDS camshaft with the non-MDS lifters do not go together and it will result in engine complete failure My engine blew up and Amazon is not trying to solve the issue with me it's costing me thousands and thousands of dollars and I'm going to have to take it to court because they misrepresented and they falsely advertised this product on their website amazon.com, I would double check triple check quadruple check every part number of every little product that comes in any type of kit that you purchase on Amazon because this one went in just fine but never ran right and then it resulted in engine failure with so many engine shavings in my oil and upon for the research found out this is not compatible with the kit they sold cannot go together otherwise it results in engine failure. Let's put my truck out for a long time I've lost money on work that I needed to do to make a living because I needed to haul the trailer and I had nothing that would hold one besides my truck that was broken and Amazon wants you to file that a to z claim but they don't give you the right options to get to that. It's so sad a multi-billion dollar company makes it so hard to file a claim to talk to service to do anything is just way ridiculous and it's sad that a multi-billion dollar company somebody like Jeff bezos who's got more money than 99.9999999% of the people in this world by far makes doing people right so damn hard

Great parts

I installed on my Ram 1500. It’s a fairly big job so you need patience! My only issue is the gaskets. The valve cover gaskets did not fit right, and the head gaskets did not seal. I was getting misfires on cylinders 7 and 8 after I was finished. Very frustrated and sat on it for a day or 2. Then I thought it could be the head gaskets as others have said. Long story short I bought some Fel-Pro gaskets and new head bolts. Installed them And it’s running good now! If you read this, same yourself some time and frustration and use different gaskets. Other than that IMO the set is ok.

Good quality works perfect

One of the worst products and experiences I’ve had so far. Headgaskets didn’t seal, Intake gaskets did not work, and lifters make your truck sound like a diesel tractor (no matter how you prime). After labor cost, other gaskets needed such as new head gaskets, oil, timing cover, water pump gaskets, harmonic balancer bolt, labor cost and etc. I’m in the hole thousands. I’m still attempting to get a refund and also attempted to contact seller prior to refund to find a resolution; Goodluck! Could not get in touch with the seller and you only get automated messages like it’s a scam. Took me a week for a message stating in review after I sent videos, receipts, and pictures of the issue. Take my advice, you will not get assistance. Never had any problems with sellers until this. Worst customer service imaginable. 2013 Dodge Ram.

So far not bad for mds and camshaft

This product so far has been a partial let down. The large head bolts were not the correct head bolts they did not have the taper at the bottom of the threads therefore would not seat correctly to draw the heads down tight. The head gasket was not the correct gasket, had to go and buy the correct head gaskets for both the right and left side. The lifters are very noisy after installation. Every thing was done to specifications and works. Valve cover gaskets would not stay in the valve cover gaskets without adding grease to the track to keep it from falling out.

Head gaskets are slightly different than stock ones.

Head gaskets had issues fitting, only 6 intake gaskets were in the package and the smaller gaskets that were supposed to be on the intake were not even there. Valve cover gaskets were supposed to fit well in the cover so as not to fall out during installation, they were slightly larger and repeatedly fell out. All other pieces fit ok but not exact.

Looking at the quality at first thought it was cheaping out on gaskets (missing gaskets as wel). Put it all in head gasket leaks. No telling what else might go wrong. Should have returned it and bought something else!!! Would not buy again ended up costing more!!!!!

I'd be very surprised if this cam holds together ! The headgaskets are the cheapest pos gaskets I've ever seen (did not use ) no gaskets for the timing chain cover, not impressed !

How do I make contact for warranty? After this kit was installed I put 2000km on the engine and the lifters failed again.
