Clean ingredients
You usually think if something doesn’t have onion or garlic, it would be tasteless. Well that’s not the case with Oragnic Roots Jain Khichdi. It’s tasty, has a mix of Indian masalas that give it a mild spicy kick (but isn’t extremely spicy). The consistency can be adjusted as per your choice. Mix of rice and dal is nice.What doesn’t work for me: it seems very expensive for the quantity, the box isn’t sturdy (very flimsy to hold) and the potatoes are not fresh/tasty.

Home Style Khichdi
Khichdi is supposed to taste like home and that's what Organic roots Jain Khichdi tasted and reminded me of.It was subtle and comforting to the palate.Pros:- well seasoned, good taste- fair quantity, quite fulfilling for one servingCons:- packaging could be slightly better, considering that they have given space for water to be added into the same box..but the box has got all crumpled up during shipping..so if sturdier options are given, i think it will withstand hot water being added for sometime- slightly expensiveLoved the taste overall!!
