Ok for hobbyist use, subpar for professional use. A couple glaring issues present on multiple XP-Pen tablets.
I replaced a collection of older Wacom tablets with one of these and the larger XP Pen Star 06 after the Wacoms stopped working in web browsers - drivers too old I guess. I had a few issues with the XP Pen Star 06 model and I'm sorry to report that this G540 model has the same problems. Problem #1: when tapping/clicking on the left edge of the tablet, the click registers as far to the left. This makes using graphics programs with left toolbars and small buttons maddening. I was able to adjust the active area of the tablet in the preferences to not use that part of the tablet surface - but why should I have to? That's a ridiculous flaw. Problem #2: The pen tip/nib is not held in tightly by the pen. It's wobbly and loose. Now that I have 2 tablets with 2 identical pens I can confirm the problem is with both (I thought maybe the first pen I got was defective). This lends to imprecise clicking. Even when I hover over the tablet without clicking the cursor shakes and twitches to a distracting degree.Overall, these tablets are just "OK". I've used tablets for well over a decade and use them all day every day for work. I need something better and regret buying these. But at least they work perfectly as far as clicks being registered in web browsers unlike my old Wacom Bamboo and Graphire 3.

Works great, but too small for my taste
I liked it and it works well but the tablet was much too small for me. It may be a perfect size for others. I was used to using an 8 inch tablet. So I ended up getting the 10"; XP-Pen Deco 01 10x6.25 Inch Digital Graphics. ...this one is a little too big for me. I'd like to have another 8 inch, but with the quality of this tablet! - I does ROCK!

Been using this product for about a year now too play the game osu! Best tablet I've used so far very easy to set up

Great tablet for starting out.
Instructions for the installation were simple and everything works perfectly. The size of the drawing area feels just right for me.
