It sits a bit lower than the wide brim style boonie hats. I really like it. Helikon-Tex products are always excellent quality. I’ll probably get another in a different color as well.

Works as designed
Hochwertig verarbeitet und trägt sich erstaunlich angenehm. Auch nach 8 Std. körperlicher Betätigung, kein Hitzstau o.ä. . Hutkrampe könnte m.E. etwas kleiner sein, da diese mit dem aktiven Gehörschutz etwas "kollidiert".

Comes up small
Needed this to go with my greenzone load outIt's okay and as it's the cheapest on the market, that's all I expect of it.The brim is neither stiff and postitionable or soft and floppy, so it us hard to shape. Also came with loose threadsMost annoyingly though is the size. My head measures 60cm yet this is tight to put on. Did not expect that of the XL size and measurements givenIf you don't want to pay 35-40 for a GZ boonie and you don't have a big head, this will do the job
