Works as expected - As long as your expectations are aligned with reality
It's light, very light. The materials and manufacture quality are in line with what you would expect from a low budget item Made in China. That said it works well enough on all the dynamic microphones and associated XLR leads I've tried it on. Completely noiseless and so far reliable.Do not try and use this with Condenser (or phantom powered) Microphones!!I use it with my head mounted mic which doesn't have an isolation switch (I play keyboards in my current band) and so having a means to switch off the mic is invaluable during a gig, ....'cough, cough'. Yep, that can be disastrous during a song, not to mention embarrassing.
