This product is defective and does not work. I had bought 4 lights in Nov 2024 and all of them turned out to be bad. After about three months of purchase, one or two bulbs did not turn on in each light. Now in all the 4 lights, at least two bulbs have gone bad. The light is also of poor quality. I live in Florida and get 8-10 hours of sunlight. So, there cannot be any issue of not charging. Most unfortunate part is Customer Service. I tried to point to Manufacturer's warranty but they would not take any responsibility. Instead they would treat me like a cheat. I am copying below the language from the e-mail that I have received. It is very important that potential customers should know the harassment that they will have to go through. I will recommend not to waste your money in buying this product as you will be just throwing your money. I will also file a complaint with Amazon that this product was sold under false advertising. This product will not last for more than 3 months but was sold as it will last for 3 years. Please read the important contents of the e-mail that I had received from customer service to judge for yourself if you would like to go through this hassle. Exact quote from the e-mail: "Could you please follow these troubleshooting steps to try and fix the lights? If they still don't work properly, we will send you new lights to 8908 address. Please kindly provide us with the number of lights that are still not working and the CODE number on the back of the solar panel (the fifth line). 1. Choose a proper position. 1) Avoid installation locations with any obstructions that may shade or block the sun's rays during the day. The location needs to be away from light obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes, or the shadows that these create. 2) Ensure that they are installed away from other light sources. If the solar lights are located near other light sources, the sensor may be triggered incorrectly, thinking that it is still daytime and preventing the lights from turning on. 3) DO NOT leave the solar panel close to the light bulbs on the same light; pull it a bit away. 2. Check for the switch button. Make sure the light is turned on: Take it into a dark room or cover the solar panel completely to test. Press the ON/OFF button a few times: (1) One press for weak light mode. (2) Another press for strong light mode. (3) A third press will turn off the light. 3. Clean the solar panel. (1) Clean the solar panel with a damp towel. DO NOT use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the module while cleaning. (2) Wait for a sunny day and place the light in an unobstructed spot where it can receive direct sunlight for about 48 hours. 4. Reset and activation. (This step has successfully fixed the issue for many customers.) The batteries in the lights may become depleted, and the control IC may become inactive. (1) Take out the battery for about 30 minutes and reposition it to ensure that the battery is securely in place; screw the solar panel back on tightly. (There are four screws on the solar panel and they can be unscrewed to open it up.) (2) Shine a flashlight briefly on the solar panels so that they can receive the signal they need to start working again. In this step, please kindly also take a photo of the battery and wiring inside. This will help us identify where the issue might be. Thank you so much!" Even before the e-mail, I had tried everything to make the lights work. But to no consequence.

We bought 4 pack and 2 dies within 4 months. Logged a call via their website and they got back to me within a day. Removal and reinstallation of the batteries resolved the issue. Here is what their Support sent me. Our product comes with a one-year warranty, and we will ensure that you receive the proper solution and troubleshooting. Could there be any shadows from trees or buildings obstructing the solar panel? These solar lights need maximum direct sunlight for optimal charging. Please try resetting the battery to restart the solar lights (there are four screws on the solar panel, and they can be unscrewed): 1. Kindly take out the battery for about 30 minutes and reposition it to ensure that the battery is securely in place; screw the solar panel back on tightly. 2. The control IC may become inactive and need to be reactivated using the flashlight or cell phone flashlight trick. By briefly shining a light on the solar panel, the control IC can receive the signal it needs to start working again. 3. Ensure that they are installed away from other light sources. If the solar light is located near other light sources, it may cause the sensor to be triggered incorrectly, thinking that it is still daytime and preventing the lights from turning on. 4. Make sure you turn on the light; otherwise, the product will not automatically light up at dusk. Take it to a dark room or cover the solar panel totally and try to hit the ON/OFF button several times. If they still don't work properly, we will send you replacements. Please advise us of the Serial Numbers/CODE on the back of the solar panel. It would be helpful if you could take some photos of the lights' interior. This will help us determine whether the issue is related to the battery or the circuit board.

Lost a star as they seem to have poor quality control as there is almost always one that stops working way before anynothers from the same pack. That being said, I've purchased at least 4 of these packs and we've got yard lit pathways all night long (sunny weather dependent of course!). The 3 stage light adjustment is great for determining your own level of night time light. The higher level will run out of battery faster just fyi!!

I ordered these for camping, because it's cool to illuminate upwards in to the trees at night when you're in the middle of no where. I had a bunch of old 18650 batteries that were still testing near their rated capacity (Samsung 25R 2500mah testing 2250, LG HE2's testing 2800 / 3000) and figured I'd order some lights that notoriously come with garbage cells. Replacing the battery is easy. I made sure the switch was off, placed the solar panel face down on my countertop, and removed the four small screws. The battery is right there, as you can see in the photo and does not require any soldering / additional fuss. It's as easy as replacing the battery in your TV remote. I decided to capacity test the battery cells that were included with the lights. I was skeptical of the 2200mah figure printed on them but figured what the heck. They test beautifully, above capacity, and on par with my used Samsung 25Rs. Additionally, they're extremely close in resistance (two digit number drawn on batteries, in mR) and voltages were perfectly in sync during the entirety of the test. Charged up together, discharged together, charged back up together. Spot on. I'll repurpose these four cells for something to combine them in series, since they're so well matched, or use in some 18650 pocket flashlights that require button tops. Which reminds me, I had no issues with putting flat top cells in - it works fine. The construction is plastic, very much so plastic, and would probably grenade if you were to trip over them or kick them underneath snow. Reason for 4 stars- since I promptly disassembled them (after making sure they all functioned, high, low, off) for the battery replacement. The soldering job on the circuit board is tidy, the soldering on the battery connector tabs is not. A couple are cold/filthy joints that I'll be redoing. It didn't impact the functionality in my 30 second test but who knows once they heat up outside, heat up from charging, heat up from discharging. May as well while I still have the back panels unscrewed. Also the silicone job where wires pass through down to the actual light was done in haste, making a U shape on two of the lights rather than a circle to completely surround the wire. In short, the cells at least test at a very reasonable capacity and had I known I would have foregone the dissection and battery upgrade upon receiving. I've yet to test them in the dark, or outside for that matter, so I can't comment on light output but they were plenty bright on high in my sunny kitchen. I'm sure they'll be adequate on low, too. Will update later.

These are awesome lights. Two of the four I bought over four years ago still work , much to my surprise. The other two got destroyed by my horses. I just ordered four more. I’ve never stayed up all night to see if they last all night but I’ve woke up at 3-4 am and they are still going. Not true of some of my other path lights which fade after a few hours. Even on overcast days they charge
