I've driven mine in puddles and haven't had an issue with it I wouldn't recommend completely submerging it but I haven't tried that yet

It's pretty fast with a full charge. I use it for crawling so i haven't really opened the throttle all the way up. But from what I have done it's a pretty quick little truck.
