Moved into a home with a fairly large yard, and we had some solar fence lights left from the previous owner but they were ultra bright and didn’t match eachother so I wanted to get something more visually appealing but still offer some light for the far ends of the yard when my dogs go out at night. I could tell right out of the box these wouldn’t be bright - so to maybe help I mounted them about 3’ from the ground since they’re just so I can see my dogs anyways. I hung them 6’ apart on the fence. The shine from each light maybe hits a 2’ square on the ground right below them - nowhere else. Way too dim, legitimately pointless for a light source. They look nice, easy to install, the color changing feature was cute and I thought I’d use that around the holidays. But yeah, I guess I need something a little more industrial. Returned.

Bought a second box of these after the first ones needed a refresh -- the first order lasted from 2019 to just last week (July 2025). No issues with the battery life, no wasps living inside, but after all those years in the rain and sun I wanted to update their appearance. I use scotch exterior heavy duty double sided tape to adhere to vinyl deck posts and only in extremely high wind has one blown off. Easy enough to stick it back on. [Warning: this tape is not meant to be removed so user beware should you only want something temporary.] I placed these on the posts facing onto the deck for subdued downward lighting at night. They do the job, along with a table lamp and goose neck light over the door. And maybe (?) the lights keep the raccoons away at night.

love the look of these lights on my new deck, fairly simply to install. a bit disappointed in the fact that all lights were working perfectly fine on the first day and then the 2nd day one of the lights has become very dim or does not work at all.

I have these placed on my privacy fence around the backside of the yard and for solar they do a great job lighting up the fence at night. This is the second set of lights that I bought from Amazon for this purpose and these ones compared to the original are much brighter and the color of the light is less warm and more cool, which I like better. They tend to do better in areas with direct sun so make sure you place them wisely throughout your property. For the price tag they’re a great deal.

One of the lights stopped working after 3 months. No help was available. Guess warranty had expired.

If you’re looking for a great option for solar lights, these are them. They work extremely well and are easy to clean. They are easy to install with all the tools included. I have been using these for a few years now and they all still work fantastically. They are lightweight and can be hung with command strips

Very disappointed with these lights. They have been installed outside for 6 months and 2 of them have leaked water which has destroyed the battery and corroded the electronics. These are not weatherproof and should not be installed where they will be exposed to rain! I donor recommend these lights.

Best, brightest, most durable, good looking fair priced solar lights so far. Even on cloudy days they charge. They are second to none, having owned several different brands and styles of solar lights. I highly recommend Otdair Solar Deck Lights (Clear).

Good product but one light didn’t work

Son muy potentes , y si te da los colores que deben ser , aparte de que tiene varios colores y modos , las dos funsionan perfecto y llego un dia antes de lo esperado , muy buena compra !

Las luces iluminan muy potentemente, súper brillantes, cada una se puede controlar individualmente y traen instructivo para poder programar los patrones. Excelente calidad - precio.

I have used these lights for three summers now without issue. The first year, I left them out over winter and they survived just fine. For the next two years, I've packed them away over winter just to be safe. They have performed well and look beautiful on our fence. In the summer, they last all night and are still going bright when dawn comes. Unfortunately, the price has almost doubled since I bought them. Still, if they last and you get 8 lights in a package, they are probably still worth it.

Para un lugar pequeño y acogedor lucen de lo mejor, las instale en la posada de mi oficina y fue al aire libre , apagamos todo y se ven bien Vrgs, aparte trae modos de luz y colores ,y con control puedes estar jugando con ellas a la distancia, como si fuera un dj/sonido.
