Helps the redness!
I love Naturium and this is one of my absolute favorites. Helps a lot with general redness. I also use Dr. Sam’s moisturizer, which also has the acid in it, and it’s really helped me redness calm. Definitely worth trying over pricier brands, it works so well.

Really impressed
For the price of this Azelaic acid I couldn’t be happier. Compared to Paula’s Choice it’s half the price and works just as well. The finish it’s also better. Gives a nice glow and sinks in beautifully. I noticed some people complain about the grittiness, which is an issue with most Azelaic acids due to how difficult it is to formulate with. I personally don’t find it bothersome at all. Huge difference in my skin if I don’t use this. PS I don’t use this for rosacea I use this for breakouts, pores, and overall skin clarity. It’s perfect. My easy 3 step routine in the picture uploaded!

Product is great; would prefer more product for the money
Really liked this product and felt it did reduce redness after continued use on my face. However, it didn’t last long. I wish there was more product in the bottle (and you can’t tell when the product is running low due to the bottle design). I haven’t reordered yet as I contemplate if the value is worth it.

Very Good
It is not for everyone. Skincare experts/dermatologists will tell you it may itch upon applying and it may even irritate your skin. I have resilient skin so I had no problem using it as other people in the reviews said that they experienced irritation from it. It is also in an airless pump and has no tube inside so DO NOT twist the top open or else you will break the pump/vacuum inside from working. I will continue using and I recommend this product but patch test it on your hand before applying to your face to see if your skin will tolerate it.

Resolved my periorbital dermatitis
If you end up with perioral or periorbital dermatitis, you'll find out that it's considered difficult to treat and can takes months to resolve. Derms often prescribe an antibiotic or antifungal. One other option derms will sometime prescribe is azelaic acid. I decided to try this in OTC strength since there was a wait to get a derm appt. I used this lotion 3-4x/day on my dermatitis and 2/x all over my face, and within days, I could see some improvement in the dermatitis. It still took a while to completely go away (3-4 weeks), but it finally resolved, and I felt there was some improvement in my rosacea & skin tone as well, so now this product is part of my routine.I also gave some to my mom & daughter, and both have asked for more. I've bought many bottles at this point for myself and various family members. This also can cause some flushing/tingling/burning, especially on the neck (which in many people is extra sensitive) or even on facial skin, especially if the skin barrier is damaged. When I use it on my neck, I dilute it with extra moisturizer. Some other notes: This product has EWG friendly ingredients which I consider a plus. The bottle is a little annoying because you can't see when you're running low, so I always make sure to have my next bottle on hand.

Grainy & smells sour
Not sure if I got a bad batch, but the product is super grainy. Felt like an exfoliator and kind of hurt. It also had a hint of Elmer’s glue smell to it. Is this normal ?!

Works great for me!
I bought this wanting an inexpensive option to help with lots of dark spots from aging and the sun. I could see a difference in the first 1-2 weeks. I did get one blemish after a couple weeks, I heard this could be a side effect from initial use, but it’s healing now and I haven’t had any further breakouts. I let this sit on my skin for about 5 minutes and then apply sunscreen. I would recommend this for hyperpigmentation. For reference I’m 40-something, fair, and probably have dry skin, but with care have maintained a dewy finish.
