Catalyst Premium Quality Waterproof Shockproof Case for Apple 12.9" iPad Pro (2015) - Stealth Black with High Touch Sensitivity ID and Multi Position Stand

I have had two other protective covers for my iPad pro 12 inch and both did not meet the quality of this case. I think the case is a little overpriced but I also spent almost as much for the two cases that I previously purchased. The quality of this case is far superior to any I have seen before. I believe that anyone purchasing this case won’t be disappointed. I do have two recommendations that I think could improve on the design. To remove the case you are provided with a plastic widget this works well but there is no place to store the widget for future use and I have lost it already. (note you could use a coin to do the same task.) I suggest the company consider designing a place on the case where the widget can be stored. Second it is great to have a nice clear back to show off the iPad but the design as is has a separate free standing stand. I would like to see the stand as part of the case.

I was surprised. I thought lifeproof had the best waterproof cases. Catalyst is almost as good. The price was a little unsettling. I bought this case off of Amazon and it actually cost more than the lifeproof case. The case comes with a kickstand but it’s flimsy. I don’t put cases through much abuse, so this case will be fine for me. It’s best selling point is that it has a built in screen protector. Lifeproof doesn’t have a built in screen protector for the IPad 12.9. If the price were around 99 dollars, it would be much more appealing. It doesn’t come with an adapter cord for your ear plugs. Lifeproof does.If you have an iPad 12.9 and you have to have a case with a built in screen protector. The Catalyst case is gonna be your best bet. The case itself is fine. It’s better than the Otterbox defender case, in that water and dirt will get in the Otterbox case but not the Catalyst case. If you like getting stickers, you won’t get one from Catalyst. It passed the water test, so that’s a plus. I like that the back is clear plastic. That’s where I’d put the sticker if they had sent one. On the plus side, the Catalyst is easier to setup than lifeproof. It’s not warm enough to get in the pool, so I can’t speak to that. The case feels fine in my hands.This is an edit to my original review. After several months, I have found that dust and grime get through. Knowing and seeing this, I wouldn’t take it in the pool. I actually took the case off and threw it in the trash. I wouldn’t recommend this case for the price and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend taking it in the pool

I searched for a waterproof cover for the 13" IPAD and found Catalyst and made the decision to buy it. It fits the IPAD perfectly and the instructions for testing the cover before putting it on the IPAD were clear and easy to follow. The test was successful and the installation of the cover on the IPAD was simple and straightforward. Thanks to the team at Catalyst for creating this product.

The case works as advertised. It was easy to install. The major drawback is the access to the AUX port. My headphone jack would not fit. I had to order a slim AUX extender from another company as Catalyst does not have one that works with the iPad. Catalyst should develop one and include it with the case.

The case is very strong and seals well HOWEVER the rubber tabs that seal the ports for the charging cord and for the headphones sucks! It’s really hard to get the open and they ripped immediately because I pulled too hard accidentally while just trying to get them open. This is my 2nd case as I ripped the first one and bought a replacement. This case is expensive compared to others that are similar so I’m really peeved that it rips so easily. I bought this case specifically for the waterproof feature but with the ripping of the tabs it’s no longer protected.

The case itself is very nice but a very serious problem I had with in the first four weeks the rubber piece that covers the plug-in broke off so this case is obsolete for what I do in the elements as of now it is not waterproof very disappointed .

Great case so far. Just got it last week, but it was easy to get on the iPad and happy we have something with great protection.

As a swim coach and kayak instructor I’ve used a number of waterproof cases over the years and not had one I could call reliable until I discovered the catalyst products. They are extremely robust and last a lot longer than it’s competitiors under tough conditions. My iPads, iPhones and Apple watches have been submerged in rivers, lakes and pools with no problem. The only issue I’ve had is with a weak (and sometimes tricky to open with wet hands) lightning port cover, which has broken - however I’ve maintained a 5* review as when I highlighted the issue with catalyst they sent me a replacement case free of charge within 48hrs.

It's very protected design but with this price there is one big issue. You can't charge ur pencil without take the case off and everytime pencil need a Bluetooth connection don't forget that. So it's not worthy design
