Great picture. Great sound. Great product all around.
I bought this online from the Amazon Warehouse for a really great deal ($161.89 + Free Shipping). It was like new in pristine condition, as the description stated, when it arrived at my home. Everything in the box, including the packaging, was in pristine condition. It was very easy to set up, and the stand that comes with it is pretty sturdy. I used it for my bedroom in my apartment in college, and I use it for my current bedroom. The picture on this is great. I have used it for gaming, watching movies and television series from my USB stick, plugging my laptop into it to stream movies and television series, as well as doing work. The sound is great as well. It is pretty loud, even though I don't have the volume above 12. Sometimes, it is hard to hear voices. I have noticed it is just some of the things I am watching, and not the monitor itself. I love the remote as well. I have had this for about 1.5 years now, and it is still performing great. No problems at all.

Great. Tad better than T24B350 series!
I do love this TV/Monitor.The Why? It's so much better than my year old T24B350 series. Not huge but enough to make it more enjoyable & usable. I think it will be better for PS than 350 was.I bought the 550 to use as a TV in a guest room. But since I was not as happy with the 350series for a monitor in my office for clarity, I put this 550 in here instead. As a TV & monitor hooked to a Comcast basic DTA box. Took a chance it would be better. It is.Having the two to compare I can tell you the 550 is a better TV & Monitor. TV was unclear connected to a DTA box on the 350 series. On this with only a DTA it is not perfect, but IT IS so much clearer than 350.As a monitor, once you play with the settings on the 550 some it is a great monitor. I like things darker & more contrast. No the type is NOT as clear as I had on a more expensive Monitor that finally quit. But acceptable & better than 350 series. Be sure & set clear type in personalize.I do believe the colors are richer too on 550.For the price this is excellent. Better than 350 series. To be fair...350 if set up to an HD box from Comcast would be a great TV. Maybe a better monitor? But not great hooked to a DTA box. This 550 IS better from the start. Like I said, not hugely but enough.BTW same height & width as 350. Personally I like oval stand better for looks but this square is working ok. It's steady. I like the clear post on stand. Pretty. 350 also had this post.***Each HDMI plug is apart on 550 series. On Back the HDMI out is to hook to PC. HDMI plug on side is for other HDMI items like my D-Link for apps etc.Problem on the 350 series was it was impossible to tell which HDMI plug to use for TV or other. I had to experiment to find the one for best picture. This setup is so much better. Thank you Samsung.I was surprised the plug for the power adapter was hard for me to find. Of course normal plug end goes in wall or surger. But small prong at other end that is suppose to power Monitor/TV? Well, finally, only hole left sooo...It goes in a small round plug marked DC 14V. For others like me wondering, :). Obvious to those who know I'm sure. Can't say instructions are good, easy to see or understand. Very faint small type & pictures unreadable.Has a Matte screen, no glare. I love the 24 inch size.I'm very happy I switched these out. I'm sure the 350 will be a great TV hooked to a better Comcast box. But who can afford those? ha.Update 12-25-19It is still working. My son gave me an upgrade 570 for Christmas. But the 550 never has one issue. I had a D-Link streaming device hooked to it for Netflix Pandora etc. It has a speaker built in. But I can't get sound with the D-Link on the 570. Tried everything. Just me trying to put older technology (D-Link Streamer) on new technology is all. 550 does have headphone connection.Glad I made decision on the T24C550 series. Great for the price-bottomline.

Good choice for bad eyes
Easy installation, and a great picture. I used this to replace a similar TV/monitor from Sharp that was 720P resolution. I didn't think the improvement to 1080P would make much of a difference, but I was wrong. The improved resolution, along with the larger screen helps these old eyes of mine a lot. The multiple choices for inputs gives flexibility for its dual use as a computer monitor and a TV also. The only drawback is that is not adjustment for tilting the screen, other than putting shims under the base.

Works great with a Mac mini, and gets crystal clear images as a TV with regular bunny ear antennas!
I'm super-pleased with this purchase! I have to admit, the stand is a little wobbly-looking, but is not bad. I ended up spending a little extra and just got a generic wall-mount off Amazon as well so that I could free up space on my desk, since my intent was to have a multi-use space that could be used for everything from computer work to sewing/pinterest projects.Tried it out with a Mac mini connected via HDMI and the picture quality was impressive especially when you think about how much Apple Displays cost. The only deficit, I would say is that you don't get volume control from the mac, so you have to keep the tv remote handy to turn the volume up or down as needed, but I don't consider that a big deal. The picture is fantastic, the size is just right (not too big or too small), and the sound is not bad. Certainly enough to be able to watch Netflix or play music off the computer while knocking out some weekend projects.

Love this monitor
Love this monitor. We have one of these in our master bath (my wife likes to soak in the tub and watch TV while I watch TV when I am doing something else...) We have another one of these in another property we own and it gets better reception than two other brands (LG and Panasonic) and pulls in more stations off the Antenna we use to get FREE TV. The price dropped significantly from the first to the second but technology advances and prices drop. You can't go wrong with this unit. I wish the remote (we call it the SMIGIK-pronounced "SMIDGE IK" had lighted or glowing buttons for the most used features...but most of the time we use the one in the bathroom with enough light to see what we are doing...The one in the bedroom, not so much.
