They're delicious!

These were smashed, melted and old. So disappointed especially for the price. So these were shipped on a bubble mailer so they were all smashed. The caramel looked melted into the cookie and the expiration date was a few weeks away. They did not taste fresh or what I was used to for this brand due to poor handling and being old.

Best alfajores ever

I received the box broken and some of the alfajores are broken too. These are a mess to eat anyway so it just adds more mess I guess. It’s fine if you are getting these for yourself but definitely not to gift anyone. The box was open so it’s not because of delivery that the box broke.The expiration date is a month from today so they are totally fine. They taste fine too.

My sister, who lives in Germany, came back from visiting South America with these delicious treats for me! We both developed an obsession for them, and every year for the holidays we order them. I live in the US and once I receive them I send it to her to Germany, yes, quite the effort, but they are so worth it, they just melt in your mouth, then you get the taste of the dulce de leche, which, by the way, you can order in a jar, really, really good stuff! The last box I ordered I had an issue and customer service was top notch, they sent back a replacement in just a few days, I was amazed, I have to say. Make sure you eat them before the expiration date, as it only lasts about two months tops, so check the date!

Disappointing... the dough was nothing like a traditional maicena alfajor; it was basically an inedible paste. I don't know if it's an issue with the recipe or if the alfajor just doesn't hold up well after the whole shipping process. So saaaad (no lo compren!!!)
