Superior Quality
Great chairs. Excellent support on the seat as well as back. We are seniors and found them to be comfortable and lightweight, under 5lbs each. They are well made and appear to be durable. The weave is tight and the fabric is strong. They are easy to get in and out of. The wider arm rest contributes to stability when getting up and down. Had a great beach day thanks to these chairs!

Love this chair.
It is both strong and light. Easy to fold flat and carry almost anywhere. And it is comfortable and sturdy. I thought it was a bit pricey, but after a few days of using it I was so delighted that I had bought it. And as a bonus, I love the appearance.

Great lawn chair!
Not just nostalgic of my childhood days with these chairs at the pool and in our backyard, this is really a great chair! STURDY but SO LIGHTWEIGHT - I had no problem at all carrying it back and forth to the beach with me this summer (and I’m a little old lady with health issues). It’s wide too, so comfy to sit in. Made so nicely - webbing is taut and going to last many years. Well worth the cost - perfect size for a large hefty-sized adult. I bought 2 of these so I have an extra. So glad I bought these! Also Made in America I believe! 🇺🇸

BEST LAWN CHAIR EVER!!!
I love this lawn chair! I was skeptical buying this, thinking it might not be a good value. WRONG!!! This is well made! Nice, heavy duty webbing, sturdy aluminum tubing frame, solid plastic cap arms. This is a sturdily built lawn chair. I bought a magna size because I am a big girl, 5'6", 275lbs, and I didn't want my chair to fold up under me. This has an accomodating weight limit and is generous in seat proportion. It doesn't shake when I use the sidearm to steadily stand up with. The webbing is dense and colorful, just like the vintage colors of yester-year. It is lightweight < 4lbs. for easy carrying to my grandkids soccer and track meets. The company builds these here in the USA, check plus! I will be ordering a full coordinating set for backyard entertaining because they are infinitely more comfortable than a plastic adirondack that will crack and break after a season or two. This is a purchase you won't regret.

A COSTLY traditional folding Beach Chair ... But HIGH QUALITY.
It's classical web type of folding beach chair. You can buy them for about $20 at Dollar and Discount or Walmart stores. HOWEVER, it is of much HIGHER QUALITY than the "cheapie" versions, in following respects. 1. The aluminum framing is of a sturdy, solid caliber of material (not likely to bend) 2. The strip of the webbing abuts tightly, touching each other) (I.e. no space in between, stronger than "cheapies") 3. Each webbing strips is WIDER (hence stronger) than on "cheapies" 4. The arm rests are a solid plastic; should hold up well and also very comfortable. 5. It is definitely very LIGHT WEIGHT. 6. It folds and unfolds smoothly and nicely 7. The height (on the Magnum version) is normal seating height (i.e. NOT the low profile, or semi low, as in many beach chairs) 8. Due to height and sturdiness, it is easy even for older and/or stockier person to get in and out. 9. I got red (and white). I think appearance is nicer in person, than the pic. Looks very nice. 10. The one I ordered (the "MAGNUM") is a bit wider than standard cheapies of this type of chair. 11. Likewise, the back is a little higher too— it hits me just at base of head (giving me a little head support—however I am just 5'2). 12. See below ... replacement strips and clips offered by manufacture. From appearance, I think this will hold up for a lot of use over some years (contrary to my experience with the "cheapie versions" — they don't take a lot of wear and tear or much abuse and straps start breaking) LAST BUT NOT LEAST: The webbing is NOT riveted in, but is cleverly held with a clip and looks strong and ... Manufacturer states that they offer replacement strips and clips for easy and effective repair. Thus, I am expecting to have many years of use, and to make replacements if/when needed. I found that the "cheapies" were throw=aways, after a year or two—when the strips start breaking. (Financially: you coIuld argue that you rather spend $20 and get a year or 2 and toss it and keep repeating that. I can NOT argue that $65 is NOT A HIGH PRICE to pay for this kind of traditional (or ole fashioned) beach chair). I would not argue that anyone else should not save some money, if so inclined, and buy the "cheapie" at Dollar Store, etc (treat it gingerly and try to get as much use as you can for $20; then spend another $20 when it wears out and straps start to go. I just felt like I wanted to try out this higher quality version. I have Great expectations. I might do a follow-up review (after some usage to report on how well it works and holds up).

Well-made but pricy.
Seems to be very sturdy and well-made and looks like the chairs everyone had years ago. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is cost.

Worth the price: UPDATED REVIEW 6/2025
I wrote a review back in 2021, and said this chair was just ok. I was very wrong. This chair has held up phenomenally well. Very sturdy, I've never fallen out if it. It has set out in Texas summer heats, freezing weather, rain. It has traveled with me all over the US and still looks great sits great. No cracking of the armrests, no bending or warping of the aluminum. Webbing still strong, except I left it sitting too close to a warm fire ring one day and the wind blew the chair over. Where the nylon touched the ring it has flaked away in some spots. It still sits just fine, does not affect its structural integrity. I just came back to order some webbing so i can reweb when the time comes. I do NOT regret this purchase. I purchased this chair for i believe around $80. After 4 years I am sold. We'll done. Apologies for the past blast review. This chair is just ok. For the price paid, i should have received 2, even if it is American made. It's literally hollow aluminum tubing and nylon straps. The arm rests are thin plastic...not sure how long that plastic will stand up to texas summers. I purchased the magnum. I am 5'4" and the chair back goes to my mid upper back. It is very light. i have not tipped over in it, but my bull of a teen son has. So beware of that factor. I'm really careful when i sit down. Pros: light as a feather, pretty, nostalgic I'm glad i only purchased one. Will come back and update next year on how it has held up

Very light weight and sturdy, easy to fold and carry
I like this chair. It’s what we needed to carry a distance to use. We’re really, really, old so the light weight made it easy for us to carry to outings like tennis matches and outdoor music concerts, etc. Easy to fold and carry.
