Love that this has such a big capacity since my suburban takes 8 quarts. Low profile allows it to fit under low cars. Nice that it has drain caps on the top and side. Stands up on end for convenient storage.

So I got this for my dad for his birthday. He's a 72-year old mechanic who restores old cars at home now as he's halfway retired. He would not stop raving about it - telling me all its features and how amazing it is. Basically I did a lot of research and this closed container that has a detachable funnel so it's got a wide mouth for catching the oil is perfect because you don't have to worry about is splashing out or spilling when moving it!

I liked how thin it is and the catch funnel. It’s a smart, yet simple, design. I did an oil change on my Durango with no Jack or lift this worked perfectly. A time saver for me not having to jack the vehicle to slide an oil pan underneath.

Works great. Used for a Jeep Gladiator and a BMW X5 - no problems with either.

If you're sloppy anything can make a gooey mess, but used with just a little care this pan is just about spill proof. The car I use this with isn't particularly low to the ground, but the flat tank combined with the clever screw-on funnel design pretty much eliminates splash, even with antifreeze. I have happily discarded all of the (many) old, crummy pans I've used over the years, this makes them all obsolete.

Perfect, has the catch ring and hold a good amount. Can be used vertically or horizontally. Cap holds well.

I've recently started doing regular maintenance of my lawnmowers but have limited storage space and was concerned about having too many things to keep track of, so this item serving as both a storage container and having the drip pan stored on it was really appealing. After looking through the reviews I tested it for leaks with water before I used it and didn't experience even the slightest of leaks, both caps secure very well. Obviously plastic items like this can have lemons in their production runs so it's definitely recommended to always test with water first. I've used it a handful of times now and have been extremely pleased with it, the container works exactly how I expected it and the pan clips back into its spot perfectly. Huge plus that it can stand for storage and none of the caps are subject to constant exposure to whatever may be sitting inside. I'm not sure if the plastic could hold up to a professional environment with regular usage and getting knocked around, but for the occasional amateur mechanic it's hugely beneficial. Highly recommended.
