These nuts are much cleaner than the ones I bought off Amazon last year from a different company. I put a slew of the last ones in the squirrel box.Not so these almonds. They are much larger than the other ones and so far I have not had to feed the squirrels with them. I can't speak of the taste, as only my parrot eats them. But from our experience so far, I do recommend these almonds!

Buy these for my Catalina Macaw. She loves them.

My 21 year old Meyers parrot gets an almond in the shell and a peanut in the shell every evening as a “treat” (which actually just morphs into supper time anyway). In 2020 buying whole almonds in the shell at the grocery store dried up (another COVID thing?) and we were running out. So I found these on Amazon and ordered a bag, and Amina (my parrot) loves them. So we will be ordering again as needed. She not only eats the nuts themselves but the shell makes a great chew toy after (I think she sees it as a challenge to render the shell to dust!). While I prefer my almonds roasted and salted, that’s not what a little African parrot needs, so these are perfect for a feathered pet who loves an almond treat. They are also excellent for beak hygiene.

Taste good, decent price & delivered quickly

I'm sorry I don't want to be so crass. Yet, these do not look tasty whatsoever. They look completely unedible and I'm seriously disgusting. The pictures tell the whole story. How in the world is this considered acceptable. I did get these to eat, not to used for mulch. Yeah this is more than half the bag. After the first few I just kept grabbing handfuls and finding one after another. Some of the others that you can't see are beyond dirty. Gross!

I order these regularly. They are a favorite treat of my parrot. I’ve ordered almonds in the shell from other companies and ended up with lots of bad batches that had to be tossed. The quality from this company has been consistently good. I will keep coming back.
