First of all the fully installed product looks great , fit is spot on.Instructions aren’t detailed so I would suggest checking out YouTube. Particularly removing the bottom unit with the hazard lights.Toyota used numerous tiny screws and requires removing the circuit board to get to some of them. The new replacement is snap in and doesn’t use any screws and seems to be just as effective.Other than that pretty straightforward.

The outer dash part is made well and looks great. It didn’t come with clips so you have to use your old ones on the factory unit. Come on guys, do better for your customers. The brackets included didn’t match the receivers screw pattern. It was off about 1/8” low, and the center to center dimension wasn’t the same as the mount. I had to get it lined up and take a pencil file to cut a slot to move the bracket up. The interface of the brackets to the dash portion is very poorly designed. Do better guys, really… the mounting hole slots could be the receiver mfg’s issue, so take it for what it is. The receiver mfg listed this dash kit for my radio. So I don’t know. Overall it was a complete success, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. But after all the issues, my amateur radio installing self did it and it works great. No rattles, just a pretty sight. A serious upgrade from my factory unit

fits perfect, looks stock

I had originally tried the Metra Tacoma install kit/mount and it has you use the original mounts off the OEM stereo which DO NOT work. Granted the mounts that come with this kit are plastic they still work and make it easy to drill new holes if they don’t line up with the stereo you purchased, which is the first mod I made to this kit lol. The second is using a dremel to make room for the volume knob and aux port on my stereo. The third was super gluing the frame to the din window to make it easier to get the stereo in place without it falling out and because the bottom lip of the frame kept bowing no matter what. Great kit looks good and is easy to work with. Plus I’m the kind of guy that doesn’t mind making adjustments and customizing! Stereo I used is a Nunoo that’s currently on sale for $90 with the coupon. Pro tip for non JBL 2nd gen tacos, grab the Red Wolf ISO wire harness adapter, makes wiring plug and play! Affordable too.

I had hell trying to install android radio to this and this is why I give 3 stars. Both sides left and right to adjust heights and how your stereo will fit are not correct and they to long! On the top of that I had to cut more holes to make screws fit stereo bc it's only 2 option to highs and size of your car or stereo . So that included cutting to resize bc once when you get your wanted highs it is to long and frame cover around radio is weak . After 2 plus hour carefully measure and cutting and drilling I make it fit and that how is look on the pictures in my Tacoma 05. What a hell I did go trough to fit it. If you do not know what you doing just take it to profesional to do it for you bc you will be pissed working on it!

Perfect fit

I have purchased this product twice for two different radios for my 2010 Toyota Tacoma. I love it, great product, and fast shipping. I bought it and within two days it got to me and genuinely it’s a bang for your buck. I expect like cheap feel to the product but it actually feels very durable and fits in the slot perfectly I have no complaints towards the product at all. Although, I feel that it should come with two new bolts for the radio brackets that hold it in place. Other than that it’s a great product I highly recommend.

Fits well and looks good, I did have to modify the posts on the back so the factory clips would work.

Just used this to install an ATOTO F7 radio, and it worked perfectly. Upon initially opening this dash kit, I wasn't able to get the side brackets to "snap in" to the actual dash mount, however I found that if I attached one side bracket to the radio first, followed by attaching the other side bracket to the dash kit, I was able to slide the radio in and have it snap in perfectly.
