MSA 456667 Metal Instant Release Attachment with Stop (A, B, C, D, E, F) Without Lugs, for Use with Welding Shields, Black, Standard

I like this style adapter and using it on a Fibre Metal welding hood to a MSA skull guard.

These are awesome. However mine didn't last but a couple weeks, and at darn near 60$ thats no bueno.

It will fall apart because crimp is cheap. I will have to solder or weld together.

Received package and three items were missing the two metal lugs and the adjustment plate.

It’s a great concept, but I don’t like it for my pipelined hood. When in use it was way too close to my face and the lense was too high as well. Would have to drill new holes in my hard hat (MSA) for it to work best and I didn’t wanna do that. Probably better suited for other welding hoods.

Needs to say exactly which welding hood is for my only complaint

Anyone try this with a standard jackson hood?
