These gel sticks are great for art journaling! I use them with water and a paint brush to blend the color over the paper.They have regular, metallic, and pastel colors that you can purchase in separate sets if you like.They are creamy, but not as creamy as a more expensive brand, however they work just fine for every day use and you can't beat the range of colors!Great value for the money. I have all the colors and use them regularly. Great when I want to put down a quick color wash instead of dragging out my watercolor set. Just spread on the stick and add a bit of water to it!

I like the ease and consistency of the gel crayons. They are larger and make quick work filling in large areas. Not suitable for smaller detail work due to the large crayon. The color palette is unusual. The dark brown and rust color doesn't go with pastel colors. The greens and pinks are so similar they can barely be distinguished from each other. Needs more blues. Attached coloring book pictures to show all the colors in the palette. Some smearing and color transfers after crayon 'dries' so consider fixative or put paper between pages to avoid messing up next page.

Bought this for my sister who has dementia. She loves these for larger spaces and she doesn’t get upset like she should from skipping gels pens that run out of ink or pencils that you have to layered. The colors are bright she hasn’t has any problem with bleed through or smearing. I am going to buy a set for myself.

Creaminess for sure but now that I have them I realize it’s filler. The quality of the color just isn’t there. I would’ve returned them but I can’t as I already tried them.
