Before purchasing I checked out the reviews and noted several people mentioning some concerns with variations in the length. There is some validity to these claims. I just installed the first two in the pack in my home and barn water systems. Prior to putting them in I matched them up to the ones I just removed (different brand) and, in both cases, they were in fact about 1/8" longer than the filters they were replacing which had me a bit concerned. Fortunately, while I had to screw the cannister on a bit more snugly, no leaking after turning the water back on so they did fit. I only gave 4 stars simply because of the length issue. While it's not a problem for me, it appears to be a problem for others and ignoring the reviews of paying customers doesn't reflect well on the manufacturer. Having said that, if after going through all 6 without any problems getting them to fit into my home or barn cannisters I'll likely buy them again, assuming they don't raise their price. As long as they work and are cheaper than the competition, why not?
