They secure your wig. Absolutely no movement. The only downside is after 2-3 hours I develop a headache.

I opened the sealed package and there's a great big hole in one of the wig grips. Total crap.

The nubs on the band are downright painful. Even after nipping them off with a clipper, the band is very tight and can't be worn more than an hour or you lose circulation in your scalp. Do these come in different sizes? Sure was way too small for my comfort.
