t’s a pleasure to write with. Herbin inks are beautiful! Absolutely Gorgeous CHi
There’s nothing to dislike—it is exquisite! It reminds me of freshly-cut irises. Hopefully I am reviewing the correct ink—I am a collector of nice fountain pens as well as inks. If you are an inkophile, buy a colo-ring. It’s a good way to see exactly what your ink will look like when you put pen to paper. I use Q-tips to make my samples. I hope that it’s the write way!

Nicely packaged everyday dark blue ink.
A business-like blue - black (with an emphasis on blue vs the Parker and Schaeffer version), that seems to dry a little more purple than when first applied. But you really need to be "thinking" purple to see it, at least under my office flourescents. For people that care about ink, will be a somewhat individualistic, but not really whimsical choice. Most recipients will just see a mid dark blue/blacky purple (definitely not lilac or violet), that adds an elegant solidity to the message - without looking like a teen age girl's MASH note..I like the smaller size bottle (with the illusion of "fresh" ink,) with the built in horizontal pen rest.

French Forget Me Nots
I adore J Herbin inks and have quite a few. This ink was purchased on an impulse and I unexpectedly fell in love with it. It is a lovely soft blue when you first write with it, but as it dries for some time (at least an hour or so) it turns into a delicate blue/lavender hue. It is exquisite! This ink looks especially gorgeous on Tomoe River Paper. It writes smoothly and flows excellently in 1.5 stubs all the way to Japanese Extra Fine nibs. I highly recommend this and all other J Herbin Fountain Pen Inks. I haven't found one I don't like!

Excellently Behaved Ink!
Very light shade of blue leaning towards a purple. As with all J. Herbin inks, well behaved. No feathering, or bleed-through on good quality paper. One star off because it is a little too much of a purple for me.

Lovely soft blue
This ink is beautiful. It's definitely blue enough for business writing, but the lavender tinge gives it a little extra distinction without being distracting. It's a very wet ink, and it goes on the page really smoothly -- I enjoy watching the color shift as it dries.I've liked this ink so much that I've just ordered a couple other colors, and I'm looking forward to trying them out.

Good blue.
J. Herbin does NOT disappoint me at all.Lovely color. Unfortunately can't really tell the difference between Bleu Myosotis and Eclat De Saphir. However, while using this with Zebra G-nip, it bleeds quite a bit

J. Herbin Bottled Ink - Bleu Myosotis
Package came perfectly wrapped and shipped quickly. The ink itself is fluid but dries quickly. Don't mistake this for 'pale purple.'The color goes on a bright true blue and dries to a soft medium blue hinted with purple…very pretty!I'm using a fine nib Cross pen that has a tendency to write to dry and skip, this ink improves it's performance greatly.

Nice, lighter blue ink
This blue ink is lighter than say a Parker Quink blue, it does have a hint of purple in it, but not quite as dramatic as the picture on the box (depending on your monitor) might suggest. A bigger bottle would be better.
