Old School Slim-Jim texture, with snap, with a hint of smoke.
These things are great. They have the same snap of old-school Slim Jims with a healthy hit of spiciness and smoke flavor. Yes, they aren't a stick of recognizable beef and they are certainly heavily processed - but I don't care. They taste great and are a good value for what you get. I'm super happy I found these and have reordered them multiple times. I'll keep ordering them as long as I can get them. Five stars if you like that old school flavor and texture. If you are looking for a fat free flavorless "jerky" then this probably isn't for you. ;)

I've bought Weaver's "hot beef" sticks a dozen times the past couple years. One time they were a bit mediocre but the other 11 they were great. I consider the flavor top notch, and the value the best I've found with extensive looking and trying out other products.

Delish!!
I've bought these at least 5 times between the spicy hot ones and mild flavor. They are always fresh and very tasty. I remove them from the sealed bag and put them in a ziplock when I get them, and keep them in the fridge, and they stay good forever. I'm a single guy, so they keep for over a month when stored correctly.

Pretty meh
Flavor profile is fine, I suppose. It’s worth the value if you are lucky enough to keep them all alive in shelf value. They should really all be individually packaged as that extends shelf life, but the kicker is they don’t do that in hopes that your sticks go bad and you have to purchase more. That, in its own, is not worth the value. I also want to say that there is zero heat to this. I know everyone’s palette is different, but I definitely expected some heat. Spend the extra dollars on something better.

Received an torn open package
First off, I'm subscribed to the normal hot snack sticks. It's solid. Average flavor and a little bit of heat, I like it. I finished my bag early and wanted to try a different flavor so I bought the spicy beef but I noticed I could smell it through the amazon packaging. When I opened it I saw the bag had a hole in it. As much as I want to eat it because it smells good, I can't risk eating potentially contaminated jerky so that's my money down the drain unfortunately. This has put me off my interest and I've cancelled my subscription for these
