The kites were easy enough for my five-year-old and 3-year-old grandchildren to fly. The kite launched easily. The wind needs to be about 10 miles per hour for them to fly. I highly recommend these kites. 3 came in our order, all with their own storage case with a Velcro closure. All brightly colored with extremely long tentacles and once in the air it looks like they're really swimming. The kids love them-everyday they check outside to see if it's windy enough to fly them.

Want to get the kids away from electronics and the media?! This is it. These kites made for a good day while waiting for the eclipse. Great for our 9, 7 and 5 year-olds.The kites are one-piece, all nylon, requiring no sticks or ribs. Nothing to break. If the wind is too weak, the kids run and run until they're done. If the wind is too strong, then the kites fly high and make their hands tired holding on. Either way is a win, and if the wind is just right, then getting the kite high to where the wind is steady is the only challenge.I recommend buying some fishing lure swivels to avoid the string becoming a twisted tangle after use due to its natural twisting. But nothing else is needed. Ready to fly. EASY to fly! Have fun!

These worked great! One was a bit jumpy at first but once it got high enough it worked just as well as the others. I was a bit confused by all the strings but I just gathered them all together then attached the reel hook which seemed to be correct. The individual bags are great for storing the kites in the beach bag.*I bought separate reels for these which made a world of difference (wheel- looking). The reels are round and spin the line out which made it easy for the kids to fly their kites high and without any help. It also made reeling the kites in incredibly simple.

My kids 7, 4 and 2 love it. Really fun. I’m glad that I chose these. But I always have to help kids to untangle:)).

We flew one of these this weekend. Even though none of us had successfully (adults) or ever (9 year olds) flown a kite before, within seconds we had it up in the air! It catches the wind quickly, and responds easily. Very colorful and fun looking - the kids loved the big eyeballs. We flew it at the beach, and afterwards we just hosed the sand off, let it drip dry, and packed in back into its pouch to wait for the next trip. Great purchase!

good quality had no problems with that my kids loved them the color are really nice but the only problem we had is that its really hard to keep them in the air . but it was a good price for them .

I bought these for a field trip so my students could experience flying a kite after the lessons. These were easy to set up. (Just tie the string to the kite). Students were able to get these into the air and keep them aloft.
