Works perfectly as a cart for a large, 3D printer
This Adjustable-Height AV Cart with Power Strip from Norwood Commercial Furniture works perfectly as a cart for a large, 3D printer and the two shelves underneath hold loads of filament and my printer toolbox. It arrives unassembled and assembly is easy and straightforward. The cart is made of heavy, impact resistant plastic and can support almost 700lbs total across the 3 shelves. It has smooth rolling casters with two locking casters. A 3 outlet power strip is installed on the side of the top shelf and has a 15ft power cord, which wraps around the cart handle for storage. While this is advertised as height adjustable, that's a bit misleading. Because there are 3 sets of support rods of varying sizes included, you can build it in 3 different heights however, should you wish to change heights, you have to diassemble it and change out the support rods. This works perfectly for my purposes. There is a shallow lip around each shelf so things don't slide off when moving the cart. I have my large 3D printer on the top shelf and it's very secure. Dremel Digilab 3D40 3D Printer, Idea Builder and Education Accessories (Lesson Plans, Professional Development Course, build plate, build tape, filament) I built mine in the tallest configuration and there is room on the bottom two shelves for these plastic bins, which I store my filament in. I am very pleased with it, especially considering the reasonable price.

The cart is good and solid
This A/V cart arrived today and I assembled it with no problem. I did need to use a rubber mallet contrary to what some other commenters indicated. The only other tool needed was an allen wrench which was included in the package. The cart was exactly as described on the Amazon website. It came with three sets of columns so that you could assemble the cart with different spacings between the shelves. One set of four columns was 18", the second was 14", and the third was 8 1/2 ". I assembled my cart with the 18" columns between the ground and second shelf, and the 8 1/2 " columns between the second shelf and the top shelf. Assembled in this fashion (including the wheels), the top shelf was 34 1/2" above the ground.I am using this cart as a bedside stand. The previous stand I was using had just 1" caster-type wheels, and did not roll very well on the thick plush carpet. The 2" wheels on this new cart roll with no problem on this carpet. This cart does not have anything that would extend over the bed, but since I am using this primarily as a laptop stand, and since I normally use the laptop while sitting on the edge of the bed, this is no problem. The cart is good and solid, although being made out of plastic it is not as heavy as it might be. But it supports a laptop on the top shelf, another older laptop on the middle shelf, and miscellaneous stores on the bottom shelf, and there doesn't seem to be any loading issue. But I wouldn't put too much torque on the columns as they might break off if really stressed.I really only have two very minor points that this item might be improved:1.) as with many plastic items there was a slight electrical charge, especially on the plastic columns, which was just enough to have some dust and pet hair clinging to the columns. Given that parts as shipped were packed in polystyrene, I'm not too sure how the charge could be eliminated.2.) It would be nice if there were an on-off switch on the power strip that is assembled to become part of the cart. The electrical cord for the power strip is nice and long, almost too long for my purposes. I wouldn't change this, however, if it would add anything to the price.Although I haven't had this cart in use for more than a day, I don't think there will be any long term problem with it, at least for my purposes. In all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Norwood Rolling 3 Tier Shelf, Highly Recommended!
Very sturdy, the wheels will handle large weight and move easily , the height is perfect, assembly was a breeze, and I highly recommend it if these things are important for your needs!

Sturdy, heavy, easy to put together. Very nice cart!
A few screws and a mallet and it's together! Very sturdy. I was worried about it being all plastic but it seems very durable. The wheels are good quality and the cord is long. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice cart
This car was easy to put together, and it was great for my classroom. It came with extra pieces in case I wanted the cart to be shorter or taller. It came with the cord to use as an extension so that the cart could move around freely. I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase and the price.
