We checked with the manufacturer, this item only has 4 primary colors, blue, green, yellow and red

These are designed to hold water, to be used to rinse brushes. Nice for small children.

what are the dimensions of the spill proof paint cups?

Dunno. They were a gift. Smallish, maybe 1/3 or 1/2 cup but they've always been big enough when painting with my 3 year-old granddaughter. Short attention span. :)

How easily is the outer lid removed? I have some spill proof pots that have lids so difficult to remove that I get paint all over my hands! teacher

The lids are very easy to remove. I use these for my twin grandsons who are almost 3 and I love them.
