Q: The description and reviews are for the bags, but this item is the drying rack?

Yes, it is advertised as a drying rack. Not many people had reviewed the drying rack when I bought it. It is very small, it looks like a desk letter holder. I wouldn't have gotten it had I realized it was so small and not usable for larger bags. The largest bags that fit are regular sandwich bags. It is metal and comes with extra rubber tips for the legs.

Q: Is this rack for the Mason bags? If so will all the sz fit in it?

I don't know what mason bags are but it does fit small snack size, to gallon size bags. Probably not big enough for 2.5 gallon though. Works very well, I use it weekly.

Q: Is this rack dishwasher safe?

Yes it is but it never gets dirty from cleaning water.

Q: What grade of stainless steel?

Not a clue but if you are worried about it bending, it won’t! If you are concerned about rust, I haven’t seen any evidence and mine is in use all the time since I only use reusable zippy bags
