The Celtic Year: A rhythm of prayer and meditation for the eight points of the Celtic year

Truly Reflective of Celtic Christianity.
Many books touted as “Celtic Christianity” all too often present a distorted view which at best, presents it as some proto-Protestantism, or at worst, seeks to impose new age spirituality and modern social views on an ancient people. Both are completely off base, Celtic Christianity was heavily influenced by Eastern Orthodox Monasticism via John Cassian’s writings as well as St. Athanasius’ Life of Saint Anthony).Author David Cole has presented a beautifully simple book of daily devotion that truly reflects an undiluted faith with a heart that beats in rhythm with the spirit of the ancient Celtic peoples. For the Christian seeking to connect with their Celtic roots or those who are Celtic at heart, I heartily recommend this book. I will definitely be looking at Mr. Cole’s other works.
