Great for an electric oven
This fits perfectly in the oven of my GE ceramic top range. It is easy to clean and saves in a really important way. I have a self-cleaning oven, but the process not only locks my oven for as much as 5 hours, it uses a ton of power, which is noticeable on my bill. As if that isn't bad enough, last time I used the self-cleaning function, the door locked shut permanently and I had to pay a big repair bill to get it open again. I decided that I wouldn't be using the self-cleaning function again and would just do it myself. To minimize the hassle, I bought these mats. So far I've only used one of them because it has been so easy to clean and has been durable. The mat exactly fits the bottom of my oven and has shown no degradation from the oven heat. Mine is an electric oven and the mat fits under the heating element as designed. I have baked things that required 450 temperature with no problem. I could have saved myself a lot of money if I'd just bought these mats when the oven was new and never used the self-cleaning feature at all.

Saves Cleaning Time and Barely Noticable
This is a great product. Super easy to install and does it's job. I love that I can take it out and clean it and then put it back in without having to scrub my oven at all. It takes all the mess away fast and efficiently. I bought 2 sets so I can alternate them. It's great for the Microwave and Toaster Oven as well. It can be cut to size and I like the black color. It looks better in the oven than the tan ones I have seen. It's almost invisible.

Doing the job
This product definitely is keeping the bottom of my oven clean. It's of course a plus, that actually is big and you can very easily cut it to fit your particular size oven. There was no smells or fumes the first time of use. There is some discoloration, like white spots on some places, but the texture of the liner seems to be the same. I am giving it the 4 instead of 5 stars rating for that reason as I have not used it a lot. Now a bit of advice for those of you using it with electric ovens. Mine has the heating element hidden and I was told (not sure if true or not), that having the liner directly on the bottom, makes the heating time longer as is covered with a heat resistant product. After that I moved it to the bottom rack. Still catches spills of course, that was the purpose, but I could be doing the same with a cookie sheet or plain aluminum foil. I won' be purchasing these liners in the future, till I get a different oven.

These are awesome!
I have a self-cleaning oven which means when you clean it, the house fills with an obnoxious smell of high heat and burning food. I don't like to clean the oven often but I don't like it messy on the bottom either. These are the PERFECT solution to that problem and are a perfect answer for everyone with an oven. Spills are easily wiped off the mat (after the oven is cool) and nothing sticks to it. There were two in the package so I have one under my coffee pot as extra protection for my granite counter! There are so many places these could be used other than in the oven. One simple wipe with a wet cloth and everything is removed. I wish I had found these mats 20 years ago!

two large teflon oven/pan liners - useful product.
Because of rising energy costs plus messiness of oven spills, I took a chance on this and have been using it as a liner. The price is good, and, because you get two of these mats, you've also got a pan liner, or you can give one away to a relative or friend. You can either place it on the bottom of the range (as I did) or put it on one of the oven shelves. It completely covers the bottom of my entire standard-sized oven - no need to cut it. When there's a spill, I just wipe it off. It is thin, but sturdy, might not last if there's a fire in your oven, but what would? This will save me a lot of cleaning time, plus reduce my electric bills. I don't think I'll be using my oven's self-cleaning feature much, if at all, in the future, certainly not two to three times a year as I used to (for the two of us). Imagine: your oven on High for four hours. I like it a lot and recommend it to anybody looking for an item like this.

Excellent Product!
I bought these to cut for liners on my Freeze Dryer trays and they work perfectly! An additional bonus is that they are very inexpensive compared to the silicone mats that others are using for this purpose. Plus, you can cut these easily to the exact size you need using a straight edbe and a razor knife. Oh, and they are very thin which I see as a plus!

Received One
This is my second purchase of these, as they need to be replaced every year or so. Truly, nothing sticks to them. They wipe down easily, no matter how burnt on or sticky the spill is. This is a great value for two liners but I only received one, this time. :(

Good Glue/Paint Mat
I use this mat in my workshop as a surface on which I can do wood glue-ups, without making a permanent mess, or having the surface (e.g. paper) stick to the wood. It's also good for painting. While primer is somewhat difficult to clean off, any topcoat, water or oil based, scrapes off easily, as does any wood glue, including cyanoacrylate and epoxy. The mat is a coated fabric, approximately 0.0085" +- 0.0005". I wouldn't mind a thicker mat (and have one at 0.001" thicker), but this is adequate for my purposes. The Teflon coating seems reasonably thick, though I've not measured it. The inner fabric texture is visible -- the surface is not highly smooth. However, since it's Teflon, surface material scrapes off easily. I normally use a silicone scraper, or a piece of scrap wood, and occasionally a fingernail. I keep the mats rolled into a 1" or so cylinder, bound by a Velcro strip. When stored for a long time and unrolled, it lays mostly flat. Turn the slightly convex side up (curved edges down), and it's fully flat. Based on an older version, durability for this use is quite good. I can't comment about heat resistance, as I don't heat it to oven temperatures. Only down side -- any color you want as long as it's black, which makes sense for an oven mat.
