Not convex. Might as well install it backwards.
Unusable. The mirror is absolutely not convex. You will only see your shoulder. It's more functional if installed backwards.Only buy this if you're will to spend another $10+ to glue a mirror on to it.Positives:It feels solid. Has some weight to it.Chrome is excellent from my novice opinion.Negative:Doesn't fullfil its #1 purpose. You will definitely have to modify the mount so it stays in place. Adding rubber, a washer, or tighten it an insane amount.

Affordable fix until I can replace stock mount.

Needs Some Re-engineering
The mirror and stem are nice looking but when installed I could not stop the mirror from twisting at the stem. To alleviate problem I drilled the end of the mount, threaded and installed a stainless set screw. Works well now.
