WORKS PERFECT!!
Did my research and found this fit my car model. the price was great, and I have rewards on cy credit card, so it only cost me about $10. I followed a Youtube tutorial on how to disassemble my car, and install this. Everything worked great, as this was the first time I have done anything like this to my car. I had a stock radio, and now I can finally hook up my iphone to play music. The sound on this is perfectly clear, and I haven't had any issues with it, and I've had it for about 3 months. When I have my iphone charging, I do hear a hissing noise through the speakers, but thats probably bc of some electric static. If it bothers me, i just unplug it from the charger. All in all, Couldnt be happier with this product

Easiest and best option for adding an Aux-in to Toyota Tacoma
I had been searching for an easy work-around to Toyota's bonehead mistake in not adding an Aux-in to the 2008 Tacoma's...they coincidentally solved that problem the next year. This was an extremely easy and effective way to get around this problem. This was way easier and from my perspective a much better choice than installing an FM modulator. With this unit you can hear the slightest, but barely audible feedback between songs and when the vehicle is not moving...but you have to intentionally listen for it! Just turn the volume on your device to 80%+ and let the radio do the rest of the work. Good luck and enjoy.Installation: There are videos on the web from comparable manufacturers showing the installation. But to put it into words...pop out the plate that holds the control knobs for heat/ac/vent (just pull out the fan and position knobs, use use needle nose pliers to pull out the plate. there are 4 clips on the inside corners). Once that is out, push to side and look up inside. You will see four bolts that hold the radio/dash unit in place. (hint: use at 4"+ ratcht extension). Once the bolts are out, just slid the head unit out (may need a little wiggle), then locate the slot where you plug this gadget in. You can stuff the adapter box in the back and then run the wire out through the glove box. Whole process took me 15 minutes.

The item worked fine for the first month no problem at all I installed it in my 2008 tacoma. I drove to Oregon with my dad and while we were over there it stopped working I guess something burnt inside the box. It was a real disappointment because it was a 18 hour drive back home and listening to the same cds over and over doesn't keep you awake.

Excellent Product
Excellent product. Super easy install on my 2007 Tacoma. Pop the head unit out and plug in one plug in the back of it. Works great. Use the disc button to toggle between the cd player and the auxiliary input. The two minuses about it; the volume is a bit low compared to the cd player (not bad, just a bit lower), and I wish it would've come with a flush mounted jack or something to make it a cleaner looking install, rather than to just have a cable hanging from behind the dash. I'm going to get a 1/8" panel mount jack to install it in an empty accessory panel under my a/c vent. It's be nice if it came with this, considering the price. Overall a great product, and I'm thrilled to have an auxiliary input finally.

Works like a charm!
Took about an hour to install, but it could have been 30 minutes. I took my time as I watched a Youtube video on how to install this step-by-step. I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla S and my console doors (both upper and lower) in the center console below the clock were broken, so I replaced them at the same time I installed this audio adapter. When taking out the CD Player, it felt like the molding around it was going to break, but it didn't. I plug it into the back of the CD Player and drilled a hole in the back on the Upper Console box and ran the wire through. It works and sounds great, just make sure your iPhone or iPod/iPad is turn up all the way. No engine noise or static. I only wish the 3.5mm plug was a bit slimmer to fit through the opening of my iPhone case. I bought an adapter and it fits great now.

Chinese install tools .....don't bother
Great, product , easy imstall ..noticeable static noise in background not a deal breaker mind you. Sound still is good.i do have to take serious issue with the tools that are suggested you buy to assist in the installation. I installed the aux. input 3 weeks ago and the tools Amazon offered to aid in install arrived yesterday via slow boat from China. Totally absurd to suggest these tool if the arrival date is at least month after you order the unit. Get with it Amazon.

Easy enough to install
Easy enough to install, but the product has a design flaw. The male jack is apparently is apparently so poorly designed that audio basics includes a DISCLAIMER right in the box. They tell you that the plug is NOT guaranteed, and in fact they include a second wire to correct the problem. I used the unit as it is (i.e. Without the "corrective cord" and sure enough the connection to my iPhone was faulty. I had to use a separate coupler- tape them together, and secure them under the carpet so they could never move. This product is flawed, and not very good quality

Works Perfect on 2006 Toyota Corolla LE
Be sure and watch the youtube video that's out there on how to pop off the plastic pieces on the Corolla to get behind the stereo so you don't break anything. It took me about 15 minutes max to put in. I also added an aux port just next to the cigarette lighter (also available somewhere on Amazon for $10) so it looks factory. Note, some phones feed a lot of alternator and other electrical noise through the audio jack, my phone is one of them so I also put a cheap audio jack noise filter inline, which slightly cuts down on fidelity but removes all the whiny scratchy noises as the engine revs, before finally routing the final output to the aux jack. It looks completely factory now, and sounds PERFECT. All I do is hit the CD button, and it turns on the Aux jack.
