The fishing vessel was set up for fishing with trawling nets and took its first trip in March 1920. Its home port wasin Rostock until 1925, in 1932 the ship was sold to Lorient and there continued to be used under the name 'Monique Andrée'. In addition, it was used by the French Navy and in 1940 by the Royal Navy as an auxiliary minesweeper. After the return of the ship to France in 1944, it was used from 1946 to 1957 again to fish and was then retired and taken apart.
