Pure Original Ingredients Sea Buckthorn (4oz) Traditional Supplement, Tart Berry Taste, Non-GMO, Rich in Vitamins and Minerals

This is a finely ground yellow powder, close to the consistency of flour. The taste is a sweet-sour, and very nice. It is not sour like a lemon, because the taste profile has some sweet mixed in. I cook for my elderly mother, and I add it to dishes I make her, like oatmeal or sesame seed with honey, things like that. It mixes well with cut bananas in a bowl, the slightly sour taste pairing well with the sweet fruit. It would also go nicely with yogurt and mixed in smoothies. If the fruit I give my mom is dark, like blueberries, I like to sprinkle this on top for a garnish, since its light color will be seen against the dark. I bought this because I read about the superior health attributes of this berry. I also bought Sea Buckthorn oil, both one made from the seed and one made from the flesh. But I have used this powder much more than those, since it is a food rather than a supplement, and thus goes well with foods. As well the cost is lower than the oil, so I am less reluctant to use it. This looks and tastes fresh, and there's nothing not to like about it. I have also bought other foods and supplements from this Pure Original brand, and everything has been fresh and good quality.

No after taste. I add to my water. It's got tons of benefits. Cardiovascular, creating good cholesterol, good collegen production.

Simple product. Tried another company's product and it contained maltodextrin which is an ultra processed corn product that added as a filler. Basically they were adding sugar to a health prodct!! This company does not!! So i control what i put in my body!! I add it to my coffee and it tastes great.

Less is more for sure!. Great subtle berry flavor! Super healthy for you and pretty easy to incorporate when mixed well. It smells like golden berries/cherries. Great quality product, really big size for what your paying , overall a great value for a super fruit supplement!. Will last a very long time when properly measured!!

I add it in my pure dark hot chocolate drink with other berry powders.l love the stuff.

I like this product because it's without any fillers. But it's too pricey !!

Good flavorful Sea Buckthorn powder. Just a bit clumpy and hard to dissolve is the only issue I've had with the product!
