Light and effective. The only one I will use.

I love how this product feels on my face. It is not too light and not too heavy. It goes on really smooth with no stickiness. It is perfect under a makeup foundation. It feels like it moisturizes my skin really well without being greasy. It also fills in fine lines so it does give some extra benefit of giving the appearance of more youthful skin. The reason is it contains three different silicones: Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, and Dimethicone Crosspolymer. I am not thrilled to use any product on a regular basis that contain silicone because I don’t think in the long run it is very good for the skin. Because it’s, um, silicone.I really like the scent. It is a very delicate fruity/floral, but not overpowering. Even though it is an artificial perfume, it is not stinky. I find the scent very pleasant.The only reason I marked down by one star and only gave this a 4 star is the 3rd ingredient is Diethylhexyl Maleate which is a toxic ingredient. It is rated 6 on the EWG cosmetic ingredients database.I do like how this feels, works, and smells, but the ingredients don’t exactly thrill me especially because of the high price. I think 5 star is pushing it with my rating, but it does have some very good qualities and it is made in the USA.I am including a photo of the ingredients. Manufacturers like Trish McEvoy should be listing their ingredients on their product page, but as Jonny pointed out it is completely hidden, not even available on their website. I hope my photo of the ingredients is helpful for you to decide if those ingredients are acceptable to you.

Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster® Cream, 55 ml/ 1.8 fl ozThis is a silicone-based primer/cream that does an excellent job at getting your skin ready for foundation. I used one pump and it covered my face and made my skin feel velvety smooth. My foundation looked amazing and I had to use less product. It gave me a flawless finish. That said, this is super expensive so I will only use this for special occasions. It is very hydrating and feels wonderful. There is a yellow colorant that helps disguise any dark spots or under-eye fatigue.I have super dry and sensitive skin and this feels wonderful. There is no sunscreen in this product but Trish McEvoy does have a similar cream with sunscreen. I have used Trish McEvoy products for years (since 1995) when I was traveling a great deal and her systems made for an easy and complete system in a small space. I ordered the cream with SPF 30, but the photo shows the cream without SPF and that is what I received. It’s very nice, very smooth moisturizer but not an essential and very overpriced. I loved the one with sunscreen but maybe it’s been discontinued or not available. The package was beaten and the box was bent, it was put in a paper envelope by Amazon and more care should be put into the shipping containers because it seems orangutans play soccer with these packages before they arrive. Not ordering high end products from here anymore, going to the high end stores where it costs the same but is packaged and handled with care.
