Decider - Gym Membership or a Beer Fridge?
Fantastic, and a well deserved 5 stars. A perfect size for most purposes as it contains 12 bottles of wine, and/or plenty of beer. One shelf will also hold the larger Champagne bottles, or magnums of wine. It has a compressor which works better and colder than the fan type in my opinion. 8- 12 degrees centigrade appears to be the comfortable operating temp, although it will go lower. Not a silent runner, but not particularly noisy - more suited to a kitchen or utility room, however a bedroom might not be the best place. Very stylish and does not seem to frost up. Buy it for the fastest way to a 6-pack.

A very decent little fridge.
I did my research and read the reviews first, liked the look of it and liked the reviews. It's a superb little beer & wine fridge. Love it! The noise is something you need to get used to. It's kept in the room next to our bedroom and I have to keep the door shut at night because it seems quite noisy. Haven't had anyone stay in the guest room yet, so I cannot report on what it's like to sleep with it in the room! Already had to defrost it, thought that was a bit early..? We've only had it a few months.

Quiet, effective, good value
There are more expensive options which have interior lights and LED temperature etc., but as they're already an extravagance these do what I needed them to. Another minor irritation is the temperature knob is on the back, so not easy to get to. But they are quiet once they've had their initial run in, and where I have them located, there's plenty of room at the back with a vent cut into the shelf above, so they don't build up any frost (note these are not auto defrost). I switched the shelves around, and if I know I'm going to serve Champagne, I take it to the fridge freezer to chill it right down. Had them a couple of months now and still happy with them

Noisy, not very cold at all
Updated review:After using this little fridge cooler for about a year, I thought I should give an updated review. This little fridge is very noisy. It is nowhere near the 39 decibels that it claims to be, it's closer to 44 or 45. Having said that, you can get used to it.It frosts up a LOT. I am regularly having to take off a big chunk of ice that builds up at the back of the fridge. As stated in my original review, this fridge does not get anywhere near as cold as it claims. The exterior of this little fridge gets very hot. In fact the heat is noticeable if you're standing close to it.I've decided to bin it.The rest of my review as stated below still stands..............................We bought this little cooler as a place to store insulin (which needs to be stored between 4-8C) and cold drinks. We were very careful not to overfill it. On the hottest day of the year, when temperatures outside reached over 30, and indoor temperatures hit 30C, this little unit really struggled. The temperature inside the unit at the coldest place, hovered around 20C. We confirmed this with both a normal fridge thermometer, as well as with an infrared (laser) thermometer. Canned drinks were cool, but definitely not cold. Insulin could not be kept in here and had to be moved back to the normal fridge, which is a real shame, as storing insulin was the biggest reason we bought it.Once ambient temperatures went down, with room temperature around 19-20C, the temperature in the fridge went as low as 6C at the coldest spot.If you intend to use this as a wine/drinks cooler only, it will be fine, as long as you either don't mind "cool" rather than "cold" drinks on the hottest days, and/or have an air conditioner to keep ambient temperatures around the 20C range. If you are thinking of buying this to store things that MUST be kept consistently and reliably cold, such as dairy, meat or medication, this little cooler is NOT for you.
