Hello, The bonus free carbon handle is a new item, and the paddle does have a handle already attached when purchased, as the handle is fixed by the hot glue, you may take it off by heating the juction area with a hair drier or hot gun if the original handle is broken. Then you could put some hot glue in the free handle, and fix it with the same way.
