Tested out perfect.
I have been a ARIZONA registered master heat pump technician for over 25 years. The problem I have noticed with capacitors is that many of them are defective out of the box.The reason I say that is I test the microfarads while the capacitor is under load which will tell me it’s exact microfarad rating. This is done by checking the amps and volts wile it is running. I use what I call the 2652 method. The simple formula is Start Winding Amps X 2,652 ÷ Capacitor Voltage = Microfarads.Sample: 5 amps Times 2652 divided 369 volts =35µFThis is the correct way to test a capacitor. There are meters that have capacitor testers settings on them but I never used them because they are pretty much useless unless you just wanna know what size it is. You need to put a capacitor under load to make sure it doesn’t have any leaking Through that dielectric. This capacitor I have bought several times and it is exact to what it is rated at.Some brands of air conditioners you will find bad capacors on every one of them when you fire them up new. I don’t wanna mention any names but one that does this the most makes air conditioners that start with the letter C and another brand with the letter B. They actually buy rejected capacitors for their units to get them cheaper so sad. It’s very important to have a correctly size capacitor to create a third leg properly. This is basically making a third phase. If you’re capacitor is leaking electricity through the dielectric it will shorten the life of your unit. About 25% of brand new air conditioner run capacitors do not pass the test. They can only be as far as 10% off of what they’re rated at is there any greater than that it’s best to throw them away. It’s also a good thing to change your air conditioning run capacitor at least every four years. In hotter states possibly more often. They make a 370 V and the 440 V capacitorsI highly recommend going with the 440 V rating it will put up with more heat and will last longer. The 440 V rating only means how much electricity it can handle. So it’s basically heavier duty than the 380V ones. Your air conditioner might be 220 V but when the compressor is running the voltage across the run cap can double that. So be warned if you’re going to test a live Ron cab you’re going to have to be extremely careful because the voltage coming off that run cap can kill you. With that being said I recommend this brand.

Great Price and Great Fit
This part was a perfect replacement for my failed capacitor. Time will tell if it lasts but it was so cheap and It’s such an easy fix, I’m not really worried about it. If you own a home, I highly recommend you learn how to replace this capacitor. It only takes 10 minutes and it will save you hundreds of dollars, especially if you have to do more than one in your life. My AC unit is under warranty, but only the parts, not labor. So it would’ve cost me $200-$300 to get this fixed under a warranty claim. This is a much better option.

Good product
Small size will fit in most applications, and quality material.

Works great. Check the size of your current capacitor and how it's mounted
Heat wave came and turned our AC on for the first time this season and just getting hot air. Cleaned out the radiators and checked the lines and they were all hot. Was about to call the HVAC tech when a friend suggested I change out the capacitor. Listened to the AC kick on and could hear something trying to start a little bit after the fan started so it could very well be the capacitor that is preventing the compressor to turn on.Checked ratings of current capacitor, ordered that night and recieved it the next day around 8:30AM. When we went to replace, we found out the diamater was smaller than the current one. Took pictures of the connectors, replaced and modified the mount to hold the new one. Turned on the AC, heard the fan kick on, then heard the compressor kick on. Pipes were cool and cold air was blowing.Probably saved about 200 bucks from having HVAC diagnose and replace the part. We'll see how long this lasts but if we get a year out of it, that's well worth the price.

capacitor
It worked find, 5 mf. China made. It's terminals seemed a bit smaller, had to crimp connectors a bit before installing. Not a biggie.
