I bought as a gift for a beginner jeweler. It is a pretty good beginner set, but the tools are a bit small. I bought for a male and I think they may be a bit small for him, and would be smaller than I would want as well. The edges are sharp and should have been filed.

The tools in this kit are as advertized. The springs aren't too strong, so there's really no stress on your hand in using the tools. The grips are padded and should be just fine. These are for my wife and they seem to fit her hand well. She's now going to be working in a bead shop so we'll see how these tools hold up to regular useage.The case isn't anything special. While the nine tool pieces do fit in the case, they really don't fit well! The case has small elastic loops sewn on each side of the case that are supposed to fit over each tool to keep them from banging around inside the case. Unfortunately, the elastic loops are too small to actually hold all of the tools. So there's always at least one tool that just gets jammed into the case to bounce around against the other tools. I don't think this will damage the tools or their cutting or crimping edges, but its clear the case really wasn't built for these nine tools. The case is just an afterthought.Overall, I'm OK with this product and I believe it'll serve the purpose for which it was bought.

I don't know how I did without this set before I bought it! It has everything in it that I need and then some. The handles fit comfortably in my hand without leaving red marks on my hands from constant use. The tools are not heavy or bulky but small enough to fit comfortably in your hand and are light weight by sturdy. The quality of the tools is excellent and the black case they come in is perfectly sized so as it is not too big or too small.What I like best about these tools is that they are compact enough that I can just slip the case in my purse and don't need anything other bag to carry them in. Very nice set and I love them!!

I price shopped the tools online and in stores. If you buy the tools separately then you pay more money. Amazon had the best price for the best kit. These tools are great for those starting out, it has everything you need if you want to bead or make jewelry. I just want to bead for now. The case is handy to keep the tools together and to carry around.Finally these tools felt very good in my hands. I noticed I needed to buy a second pliers because my hands could not hold the wire on both ends for very long. I bought the same brand pliers but not Ergonomic for more money in a store. Wow, I could tell the difference. The ergonomic Beadsmith pliers were much easier to hold than the regular Beadsmith pliers. I highly recommend getting the ergonomic tool kit, especially if your hands get tired fast like mine.

This kit includes ALL the tools you need for jewelry making in a well made zip-up case. The quality of the tools isn't top notch, but for the price, it is a great deal. The spring action and craftsmanship aren't the best; they probably won't hold up for years of use, and I definitely wouldn't call this a toolset for "The Professional Beader". However, if you are looking to get all the tools you need in one purchase, you will be content... and the case will hold up better than most the tools, so you will have a place to store the replacement tools you buy that cost you as much as this whole kit.

I love everything about this kit. I love the case that it comes in. My tools are easy to grab and use. I never have to go past this tool kit because it can do everything I need it to. Very pleased with this purchase.

This kit has some great tools for making and fixing jewelry, but I wouldn't say that it is necessarily ergonomic. I bought it specifically because my hand and arm began to experience pain from my first set of pliers and it was a disappointment to realize that these were no better than the set I was trying to replace.The only difference between these tools and the first set I bought was that this variety is much more useful. The included tools are good choices. Ergonomic, notsomuch.I went to home depot and looked at the pliers. I found some really good pliers for when I have to cut metal and can't use my dremel. The heavy duty pliers are more ergonomic. The smaller the tool, the more strain you will place on your own hand. That's been my recent experience.

They are just "ok." Was hoping for much smaller, "micro" precision jewelry pliers. Would suggest the Xuron brand for anyone looking for precision jewelry making tools. These are more like the mini tools you can get from Craftsman, Husky, or the Home Depot brand. Their idea of super fine and my idea of super fine are worlds apart.

I love my tools . They are really superior in quality as compared to the products i found in indian craft shop. Though they are more expensive than the indian ones , they are worth every rupee.

Good quality. My only concern is the silicone flat nose. The silicone is breaking away in small pieces.
