When i got the soap i thought......What a joke. Typical no name s**t on Amazon. The box it came in from the manufacturer was all mangled....and the soap was loosely wrapped in a piece of thick paper. like the most ghetto soap packaging ive ever seen. And the bars are hand broken....not cleanly cut like the pictures.But then i used the soap.........MAN WAS I WRONG. it smells somewhat girly before you use it. like a high class french milled soap. But when you use it it smells so fresh and so clean. It doesn't leave a strong lasting scent on you either. you smell nothing like you do with typical soaps. Until you bury your nose in your skin and then you smell it. PURE CLEAN. And it doe not over dry by any means. i have very dry skin and it feels nice after washing with this.I cant describe it. Would highly recommend this soap to any man with dry or sensitive, dry skin, or doesn't like to smell any particular soap all day. you feel clean and when someone is right up close in your business you smell fresh AF.

I have inverse psoriasis, and conventional soaps bother my skin. Bar soaps made with palm kernelate and any conventional liquid soap seems to make my skin skin raw by the end of the day. I've applied lotion deal with the dryness which sometimes gets so bad that my hands start to crack and bleed (especially when I travel to a dry climate).I bought this soap and used it while I was in the dry climate which traditionally caused my hands problems and found that my hands did not need any lotion at all.My psoriasis also doesn't flare up.These soaps last a long time, but I attribute that to using only use 2 swipes at a time and getting some soap dishes and soap lifts to keep the bar dry after using it.

I loved this product and was buying it regularly, but in this last purchase I noticed that although the packaging remained the same, the size of the bar had shrunk. I added a photo. The one on the left is a partially used original bar, but the one on the right is a brand new bar and you can see that it is quite a bit smaller, so I was very disappointed. I think the vendor should have been more up front about the change in size. I am unlikely to purchase again...too bad.

I love this soap! I have sensitive skin and had to give up soaps with fragrances as my skin couldn't handle it. The fragrances do not react negatively with my skin in any soaps from Splendor I have tried so far. I especially enjoy this soap as it cleans well, smells great, and does not leave my skin feeling dry. I know the price point may be a shocker for some, but I think it's right on point with competitors, and even cheaper than some fad soap brands, such as lush. Also happy to support a business from back home in the Santa Barbara area.

The soap itself I love. I like that it's a mix of the charcoal. I have bought a few different types of this brand of soap. This bar seemed to have lasted longer. My only complaint is the scent. It reminds me of when they put like a fresh scent in a trash bag. Will probably go back to the charcoal bar because of the scent. Bummer cause I liked the actual soap better.

The ingredients are great, and so I trusted that the last ingredient listed, fragrance, would be trustworthy. Not so, this stuff smells like laundry detergent. I had to remove it from the house so that my wife would not have an allergic reaction. Smells cheap and certainly not manly. Returned without even opening it.

Since discovering this product it has become my go to bath soap as a necessity. For anyone actively pursuing a more natural life, free of artificial substances, harsh perfumes and toxic chemicals this is the perfect product. The fact that it is domestically handmade and sustainable doesn't hurt either. For me it's a no brainer.

We love all their products, but especially the fresh scent and lather this man soap gives. I thought I'd give it a try and make my own for fun, so I ordered the colorant package as well to see if I can recreate this design which looks great in my ocean-themed guest bathroom. I love that they use natural colors.
