We had one of these we had purchased years ago at the beach. It works so well that I wanted another one for our second umbrella. This one is larger and longer than our old one and does a fantastic job of holding our umbrella in the sand - even on windy days. It's light enough that it doesn't add much to the weight of all the other stuff we lug to the beach. I'm glad I purchased it.

We recently purchased and used this sand anchor to hold the patio umbrella we took to the beach for a week in Florida. It worked perfectly each day. Easy setup and tear down. The umbrella is heavier than other beach umbrellas since it is a standard patio umbrella with a 1.5" OD post. The sand anchor is light which is excellent because, as you can see, we carry quite a lot to our beach spot to set up. It is solid and sturdy and securely holds the umbrella in mild to medium wind all day.

It seems a good product. It seems sturdy but I just received it today and haven’t had a chance to use it. I think it’ll work just fine—-it’s long so it will hold the umbrella securely

This product does exactly what you need it to do. Manually drill an anchor into the sand for an umbrella at the beach or park. Well built and will last several seasons as long as you use a reasonable amount of force when twisting into the sand or dirt. It does not take a crazy amount of effort to get it started, so apply some downward pressure with a twist and it will get started pretty easily. Very light weight and fits easily into the beach bag or beach wagon. Good value.

This actually anchored down my beach umbrella on a windy day at the Jersey Shore great product wish I would avoid it a few summers back instead of having white knuckles from holding on to the umbrella very well made very easy to use
