Excellent loom, faster than expected!
I already own a BEKA loom, but wanted a smaller one for travel and smaller projects. This frame is perfect! I've read some posts where the buyer didn't like the dowels on the side, rather than typical nut and bolt assembly. All it takes, if someone doesn't like this, is to get a couple of rubber bands! They'll hold the sides steady, and I like to use them as markers, to keep me on track with sizes and shapes. If BEKA should make a smaller loom, I'll be ordering it, also! BTW, I got this a day earlier than expected, right in the midst of Prime Days!

Too easy to assemble - completely unstable
This is a cute loom but it has no stability. The side rods do not fit tightly into the holes on bars on the top or the bottom. I really thought that Beka would make a better quality loom. Perhaps when it's warped and extra threads/yarns are woven in as out "removable" rows at the top and the bottom, they might provide some stability to the loom. But right now, it's going bye-bye to a young lady who wants to learn. I hope I am not doing a bad thing by giving her this loom. Perhaps I should find a sturdier one. Disappointed with this loom from Beka!

Great Choice for New Weavers
I am very new to weaving and this is my first loom. I have to say it is the perfect loom for someone just starting out to learn a new craft on. Easy to assemble, pretty sturdy - I am having a blast with it!

Easy to use
This loom is super easy to assemble, and disassemble. Easy to store in optional bag. Easy to take along.

Need to be warped for frame to stay assembled.
The product is fine for kids or beginners. Just be aware that the weaving frame does not stay assembled until you get your warp on it. A bit disconcerting. Other than that, the parts are nicely made. There is no way to control warp tension, if that's important to you. Probably not an issue for kids weaving though.

Great product
Holding itself together after a few months. Getting a little warped, but still good to use.

the gaps are too large and the weaving looks stupid if you're not using chunky yarn
the gaps are too large and the weaving looks stupid if you're not using chunky yarn. I used it once and never touched it again.

perfect for tapestries
This loom makes beautiful tapestries! The teeth on it hold worsted weight yarn for the warp and it seems that the bigger yarns won't fit on the warp. The loom will not fall apart when you warp it. I bought this thinking that I could make sprang on it and I'm sure you could but they sell sprang looms for $30 at etsy. You do have to pay shipping and it's not prime. comes with a large needle a shed stick and a shuttle. I was able to make a nice tapestry from this loom. it works great. I was told I spent too much money on it but seeing that some looms are $100-$20,000 dollars this is thrifty and great! good quality wood too not cheap won't break
