BlueSolar MPPT 100V 15 Amp 12/24-Volt Solar Charge Controller

An den MPPT 100/15 kann man auch mehr PV anschliessen als erlaubt, denn er regelt automatisch runter so das mit maximal 15A die Batterie geladen wird. Natürlich muß man die 100 Volt als Maximal-Spannung schon einhalten. Bei mir waren 2x250 Watt je 36V PV-Module angeschlossen. Den Load-Ausgang kann man wunderbar selbst einstellen(sehr exakt), ob als Dämmerung für Beleuchtung oder als Relaisschalter für einen Wechselrichter. Und da ja kein Display verbaut wurde, sollte er auch bei sehr kalten Aussenbedingungen z.B. -20°C lange halten. Mit dem Bluetooth-Dongel kan man schön im warmen Haus sitzen und alles einstellen ( Gerät hing in kalter Garage und ich saß im Haus). Nun hab ich mir aber den MPPT 100/50 geholt, den werde ich auch behalten. Bei den kann man im Menü ganz einfach den maximalen Ladestrom bis 50A einstellen, so hat man immer etwas Reserve. Bei mir versorgt er einen Gartenteich mit 18000 Liter. Teichpumpe 60Watt UVC-Lampe 36Watt Bachlaufpumpe 35Watt Luftpumpe 15Watt. Als Wechselrichter ein 300Watt/12V von VOLTRONIC® modifizierter Sinus Spannungswandler 12V auf 230V. Als Batterie ein GEL-Akku mit 100AH und 12V. Die 2. Batterie ist schon geplant dazu zu bauen Ein Manko hat das ganze aber, die Software im Tablet ist komplett nur in Englisch. Das Handbuch ist aber in Deutsch.

Comme cité dans le titre on trouve des produits moins chers mais si Victron existe encore et à ce prix c’est qu’il y a une raison : la réputation acquise par la qualité des produits. Malgré tout je trouve que victron fait quand même payer l’entrée de gamme , comme ici, assez cher . Une étoile de moins donc lorsqu’il s’agit comme ici d’un produit qui ne nécessite pas un tel prix .

...der jedoch ohne optionales Blutooth-Dongle oder USB-Kabel nahezu als "Blackbox" - und dies allerdings sehr gut ! - arbeitet. Man erfährt mit dem alleinigen Gerät nicht wirklich, was dieses kleine blaue Kästchen so leistet. Die LED's geben nicht wirklich mehr her, als jeder billige PWM-Regler. Wenn man aber (wie in meinem Falle) den Blutooth-Dongle mitbestellt, an den 100/15 anschließt und über ein gekoppeltes Gerät (Smartphone/Tablet) ausliest, dann offenbart sich der wahre Mehrwert dieser Investition....Die Werte und Einstellmöglichkeiten, die dann dargestellt werden, sind sehr übersichtlich und hilfreich. Und jetzt macht das Gerät richtig Spaß ! Innerhalb weniger Tage wurden bereits 2 Updates angeboten. Der jeweilige Update-Vorgang war schnell und relativ zuverlässig (zeitweiser Abbruch des Updates, erneuter Versuch dann erfolgreich). Ich habe den Victron MPPT 100/15 in einen Solarkoffer eingebaut (anstelle des verbauten einfachen PWM-Reglers) und kann nun erheblich besser nachverfolgen, wieviel Strom die Solar-Panels in die Batterie einspeisen, wie die Batteriespannung ist, wieviel Strom eventuell angeschlossene Lasten ziehen usw. Der Preis für den Regler und das Dongle sind allerdings insgesamt in Relation zum Preis meines Solarkoffers von Offgridtec recht hoch. Für den bereits für das blaue Kästchen aufgerufenen stolzen Preis würde ich mir allerdings eine deutlich bessere Dokumentation wünschen und im Besonderen einen schon integrierten Blutooth-Sender. Mein Fazit bisher : Hochwertiger und entsprechend hochpreisiger MPPT-Solarladeregler, der mit optionalem (nicht gerade billigem...) Zubehör (Dongle/USB) sehr übersichtlich alles Wesentliche darstellen kann.

I bought the 75/15 model to play around with solar panels and run some experiments of my own just because I like these things. The device appears solidly built. The 75/15 model apparently is also filled with sand to aid with cooling so DON'T try to disassemble it! I always start with 3 stars and then add 1 for each "pro" and remove one for each "con" I find. With that said, here are my views. It's a very minimalistic device and there really isn't anything you can configure as there is no user interface to speak of. This means that of all the wonderful configuration and monitoring options you won't be able to access any AT ALL unless you spend another 50€ for the VE.Direct external module, which effectively means that unless you plan to do a very basic and straightforward setup you will need to spend 50 more bucks on it, effectively making it a very costly device (-1 star). To compound this problem, it's DEFINITELY NOT CLEAR that it doesn't have Bluetooth and basically all of the manual leads you to think that it does indeed have it! I find this to be quite deceptive and didn't sit well with me at all (-1 star). I like how compact it is, which is great where space comes at a premium. Also great the fact that it has a replaceable fuse, which is very uncommon, provides an added layer of protection and will save you even more space as you won't need to add your own fuse box (+1 star). Furthermore, it has a good PV voltage range (75V), which is higher than that of similary-sized PWM controllers (which of course are way worse also by virtue of them being PWM rather than MPPT). The voltage range was actually a big factor in my decision as 50V would have been insufficient for me (+1 star). The bottomline: [+] if space is at a premium for you, go for it [+] if your usage is "basic", go for it as it's a high quality device [-] very deceptive manual leads you to think it has Bluetooth but it doesn't! [-] if you want to customize its behaviour or monitor its functions, the REAL cost is over 50€ higher as you'll need to buy a VE.Direct module to add Bluetooth

Connected to both 12V nominal panel and a 48V panel and they both worked great. MPPT charge controllers have really come down in price over the years, and victron is a somewhat respected name. This is just an important heads up and the true purpose of my review. This model does not include integrated Bluetooth technology. For connectivity you have to buy a dongle, currently around $40 to connect, or just buy the Bluetooth model of this unit for only an additional $15.00. If you don't want or need connectivity, fine- buy this one and save a few bucks. But I love the information that the Bluetooth connectivity will give you and in my mind it's worth the extra 15.00. In a portable setup it will allow you to position your panels to optimal angles and see incoming watts, as well as the state of the charge of the battery. You can also easily make adjustments to the charging profile if desired.
