Great design, works very well
The handles were the deciding factor on my purchase of the Staub vs other ceramic pie dish. Oven mitts and potholders are bulky (out of necessity), and being able to get a heavy pie out of the oven without touching the crust is a big plus. I'm usually a buy-the-pretty-color person, but I bought the white dish on this. It's beautiful. Classic and will go with anything. Happy with this purchase.

Love these
I love these. I’m I bug Le Creuset fan and these rank right up there. They are perfect for pies, small casseroles,etc and they are gorgeous. And doesn’t hurt that they are so much more affordable than Le Creuset, but just as pretty and functional.

I made a cherry pie in it the day it arrived, love that someone thought to put handles on this pie plate as it makes taking the pie out of the oven so much easier!The pie plate does seem a bit smaller than my other 9 inch, but that doesn't bother me. It's esthetically pleasing to serve in, my pie cooked evenly, and I appreciate the handles.
