As a first time mom, trying to swaddle with a blanket was an absolute nightmare, my husband and I just couldn't figure it out and baby kept wiggling out of the blanket. We bought several different types of swaddle sacks, but the sleepea is hands down the best swaddle we have tried.I am going to put the review I wish I found when looking for a swaddle:1. Material: Very light weight and soft. We live in Florida and baby boy was born right in the middle of summer, so we were also worried about him being too hot, but the mesh venting helps keep him cool and makes us feel so at ease. We have not had any skin irritation issues with this swaddle at all.2. Velcro: the Velcro portion that swaddles the baby is amazing and such a genius concept. It makes it ease to get baby in the swaddle snug and at a comfort level that they like. The Velcro is also very quiet compared to other types of Velcro. It does still make noise, so don't be fold thinking it's noiseless.3. Fit: The other swaddle sacks have so much fabric and bunched up near his face, which made me so nervous. The Sleepea is designed so well that it does not bunch up near the babies face and fits them very well. I noticed on other swaddles the zippers hit under their chin or rub against their neck, but there is a little zipper garage (lol not sure what it called) that covers the zipper, so it doesn't touch their face.4. Usability: It really lives up to the name "5-second swaddle", it is that quick and east to get your baby into the swaddle. Our baby does occasionally get his arm out of the swaddle (he is a little Houdini), but the design keeps his hand in the sack still, but we do at times find his fingers poking out of the top (he is 3 months old, so he wants his fingers in his mouth constantly). But, it's not that much of an issue, and it doesn't seem to bother him. I also love that we can continue using the swaddle with his arms out when he starts rolling as there are little plastic buttons on the sides, so you can put their arms through.Overall, our baby boy absolutely loves it. We made the mistake of only buying 1 in the beginning and ended up buying 3 newborn sizes and 3 of the next size up.Our baby is now 3 months and uses this swaddle for every nap and at night. He loves it so much that when he is swaddled, he instantly calms down and falls asleep in a matter of minutes.If you are a first time parent (or even if you aren't) I cannot recommend this swaddle enough.

This is the best swaddle I’ve tried. My baby is 3 months and still needs a tight swaddle but I didn’t want to buy a ton that we wouldn’t be able to use once she’s rolling over. This one swaddles her snugly but is super roomy around her legs and I love that I can leave one or both arms out later on. This is also the most secure swaddle I’ve found and she’s slept so well with it for the first three days and nights that I turned around and bought 2 more. My only complaints are that it shrunk a bit on regular wash/dry cycle and diaper changes are a little tricky with her arms secured in the Velcro. I almost have to get the diaper underneath her hands but it’s worth it for how well she sleeps otherwise.

I cannot say enough good things about this swaddle! As a new mom, I was struggling to get my baby to sleep longer stretches at night—until we found this. There should be no other kind of swaddle in your baby's dresser. I have tried a bunch of brands, and this is not only the EASIEST to get a baby into, but baby seems most comfortable in these as well (far less fussy, sleeps long time in it). The fabric is soft, the mesh is especially great for summer time, and it fits the baby snuggly but not too tightly. It's pricy but incredibly worth it to stock up! You'll want to use one every day! My only complaint is that is doesn't seem to dry quickly in the dryer, even when everything else in baby's laundry load is done.

This is the second size of the sleepea swaddle I bought for my little one and I feel it really helped him get great sleep. We started with the small not long after coming home from the hospital. He would sleep 2-3 hours at a time before busting out of a muslin swaddle and after transitioning to this we were able to get 6-7 hour stretches. The Velcro wrap and security of the zip up sleep sack kept his arm movement at bay and help him rest longer. He is just about to turn 4 months old and we are now transitioning to a different sleep sack because this on no longer contains him. I deducted one star because the Velcro looses its strength very quickly and keeps coming undone during the night allowing him to get his hands in his face and wake him up. The Velcro strip also wrinkled after the first wash after accidentally getting thrown into the dryer so highly recommend air drying. The wrap it self is nice and warm and very soft on the inside but doesn’t retain heat so much as to cause over heating.

The best SleepSack/swaddle on the market! If you have a wiggle worm like my baby there is no escaping this contraption. I love how easy it is to use and it keeps those wiggly little arms in place. Once the baby is ready there is an easy transition for one arm to two arms out while still keeping the chest area swaddled.The mesh and material is great for Arizona weather and my baby is not too hot.The sizing in all baby clothes is a bit off in my opinion since babies are all different, so I would buy a set of all 3 and use as you see fit.I had the Halo ones for my older two kids a few years back, but this one is ten times better!
