Rimmel London Eye Brow Pencil - 1.4gm (001 Black Brown)

Why I chose it:I had been using the No.7 Sculpting pencil which I loved but it's price has gone up higher than I can justify!! So searched amazon and this one had some good reviews and was cheap!!Postage and packaging:I ordered it on Friday and it arrived by Monday. Came in a plastic envelope and then a plastic bag within that.Aesthetics:Very neat little pencil. about 10cm long. Lid has a little brush which is very handy.Performance:I wasnt a fan of the brush. It is very hard and scratchy.The actual pencil is very good! It applies really smoothly and easily, is very pigmented (I have the Black Brown shade) and easy to use.My No.7 pencil used to take a bit of pressure to apply but with the Rimmel pencil you only have to apply very gentle pressure and it glides straight on. Its really creamy amd smooth in texture.Overall, really happy with the product! the brush is a very minor negative and I will 100% buy again!!I think this pencil is worth at least £10 so the fact it is £3 is amazing!!

I've been using this product since 2015, and every time I try a high end eye brow pencil I return to this. I use this until there is nothing left to sharpen. Works best with a mac pencil sharpener, other make up sharpeners cause the led to break.Benefits and uses- Using a light tough you can fill in hair line then blend out.- Can use at waterline for a 'no make up' make up look.- Can use at bottom & corners of lip line before lipstick to create the illusion of fuller lips or 90's supermodel look.- Works well after eyebrow lamination- Can be used after brushing brows with clear mascara for a more natural look- It's cheap, cheerful and compact

I really like this eyebrow pencil. I find I keep coming back to it when I've gone and tried others.The formula isn't too soft but also isn't so hard so as that you're digging into the skin to get a line.There's a decent amount in each pencil too and the colour is just right for darkest brown and black haired girls as it doesn't look unnatural.The little brush on the lid comes in handy if you're using it when out on the town.Really recommend it!

I mainly use Eylure eyebrow pencils but use this for finishing strokes over the top - prefer to use two slightly different colour pencils as natural eyebrows are not just one block colour! Make sure to keep it really sharp to get the fine hair line affect. This lasts me all day without fading and the pencil normally lasts me about 4 months from everyday use/sharpening. Some of us are just challenged in the eyebrow department and need some help I guess!

Came in secure packaging and wasn't used. I had to press a bit hard to get it to apply. It stayed on all day. The shade was a bit too dark for me, but thats not the products fault. I would say it's good value for money if you are colouring your whole eyebrow. I felt it was hard to do just parts of my eyebrow and blend it because it's more waxy than powdery of that makes sense.
