Will the liner fit with the 3rd seat in the up position??? In short to have more space in the back??

I believe you will have no problems. The cargo liner is molded for the 3rd seat anchor points but you have to take a sharp knife to cut them out so the seat anchor will contact the in-floor rods. Then as you fold the seat forward (for more cargo space) the rear anchors release but the front ones remain connected.

Yes, it's actually fairly clever. There are locations in the mold that you can cut out to expose the connecting hardware for the seats in the floor.

This part, 28253, is for a Tahoe (will fit Escalade and Yukon models too). I will request that the description be corrected.

will this fit a 2008 gmc yukon denali xl?

We have a 2010 Tahoe. And it fits like a glove. It fits right up against our 2nd row captains and goes all the way to the back to hard plastic where the back hatch closes. Hope that helps.
