Makes it much easier to take food out of my toaster oven and microwave.

I got these to remove toaster oven-sized trays and pans from both my toaster oven and countertop oven/air fryer. I have accidentally touched my potholders to the heating element in my toaster oven (oops) and simply find potholders cumbersome and dangerous to use in the countertop oven.Two grippers, two ovens, two problems solved!The silicone pads make the pans and trays feel secure inside the gripper section too.The only issue I find is the angle of the handles vs. the angle of the gripper pads. Possibly if I was taller, or had my appliances sitting on lower countertops, I could manage this offset angle more easily. It just feels awkward having to raise my shoulder to get my hand up high enough to grip the pan/tray edge squarely, while squeezing the handles to slide the hot pan/tray out of the oven. I’ve also flipped them over to grab bowls out of my over-the-stove microwave. That worked well and felt secure also.It’s a learning curve (for me) but THEY work well.

The media could not be loaded. Hey everyone, I just had to share this find with you! So, I was feeling lazy (who isn't? ), so I unscrewed all the handles off my pans to make them dishwasher-safe. But then I realized I needed something to handle those hot pans, which is when I discovered these Hot Plate Gripper Clips Holder Tongs.Let me tell you something: these small assistants are a game changer! I can now chuck my cookware into my tiny dishwasher without fear. No more fiddling with handles and such.They're simple to use, and the design is rather appealing. The clips keep the hot plates securely in place, preventing me from burning my fingers or dropping anything. But here's the thing: I wish they had a stronger grip. I think they could use a little more energy to hold the plates more tightly.However, that is not a deal breaker for me. These gripper clips continue to do the job and have made my lazy dishwashing life so much easier. So, despite the minor quibble, I'd say they're fantastic cooking companions to have around!If you're like me and don't like to deal with hot pans, these Hot Plate Gripper Clips are worth a try. Just be patient with 'em, and they'll make your dishwasher routine a breeze!

Grippers have silicon pads so pan doesn't get scratched. Great for my small egg pan that has small metal handles on each side that get very hot when cooking. Most excellent product!

This pot gripper 2-pack is on my "must have" list for the Instant Pot. I have used this many times to remove pots inside the main IP bowl (pot-in-pot cooking) or even remove the IP bowl itself while hot. Some recipes call for removal right after quick release because you need to stop the food from overcooking. I have also used it to remove the various wire racks. In short, this is a very useful took and pretty much a necessity because I don't know how else you would get the pots out. This is probably better than the "tin foil hammock" method because you can squeeze the grips and use both to balance the item like the heavy main pot with food inside. Also I can envision this being used for other purposes in the kitchen like taking off pan lids that have gotten really hot from the stove or oven.That being said, this is not a perfect product. I would call this "the best that's out there," not the best possible product. The grippers are curved a bit so you can usually only line them up one way with the pan you are moving. It might take a minute to figure out the best method to grip. If you do it wrong or don't get a good grip, the pot you are moving will fall and spill everywhere. (This has not happened to me but I worry it will.) I think the curve is helpful because your pots are curved, but it just makes it a bit awkward. Also, the grip itself is not the greatest. The rubber pieces inside the metal are not secured very well. I would not use this product to move hot pots containing food very far - only from the IP to my stove or sink. Overall, this is probably a fairly cheap product (which the price reflects), but I don't know of anything better.My order came with 1 black and 1 blue gripper. They have a small metal ring at the bottom to keep the handles closed for easier storing.
