Perfect for keeping socks organized and together in the laundry.
Perfect for keeping socks organized and together in the laundry. One tip - where the socks are in the locks/keepers, they wont get laundered as well, so pull the socks through to the cuff, unless you have grass stains on the cuff and that is where you need more attention.

Easy, and no more sock widows!!
No more lost socks and no more pairing!! I keep a small plastic bag of these clipped to the side of my hamper and pull the cuffs of my socks through the openings when I’m done wearing them and before I throw them in the wash. After washing and drying I put them in my drawer with the clip still on them. No pairing! When I pull them out to wear the socks, I put the removed clip back in the bag by my hamper. No lost socks!!!! Yah!

60 DOUBLE rings for a decent price. A satisfactory end to a long and boring search.
A satI've been searching for a long time to bolster my cache of sock sorters. It has not been exciting. For one thing, Amazon hosts a large number of fairly similar options, most of which fall short for one or two reasons. One, many are kind of expensive for my taste. Two, many are either SINGLE rings (which are useless to me) or include both double rings (like these), and SINGLE rings (which again, are no good to me).Good: This order is 60 DOUBLE rings (two rings connected together). The bridge that connects them is thick. (My old ones, just as another reviewer noted, are a thin rib, much like the bridge of a pair of glasses. Many of these have broken, which is why I now have more single sock holders (i.e. single rings, which are good for either ONE sock, or a pair of thin dress socks) than I could ever use.Bad: The rings are one or two mm smaller than some of my old sock holders. So far they have fit even thick wool socks, but those are a little tight.Bottom line is, these seem good, are the best deal I have found, and are just about the only set I have found that doesn't include single rings. I do recommend these to anyone who hates sorting socks.

Very clever idea
These are so helpful, because my knee socks mostly are all black, but different shades of black, and it is too difficult to find its match. Otherwise I can't sort socks when I do laundry at night; I need full daylight to see the various colors of black because they are all the same brand but have been bought in different years, and the black color has faded out to some extent in each pair. These are a great help!

does the job
so far, these have done the job. socks stay in place through the wash and the dry cycles of laundry. i have been concerned about the teeth snagging the threads and pulling, but that hasn't happened. i plan on reordering these. (If it will help bring order to socks and laundry, I'm all for it.) the reason for the one star off is this: the outer packaging that the product was shipped in was fine. but the cardboard and plastic part of the packaging for the sock locks themselves, was flimsy. out of the four packs I ordered, three of them had opened up in the padded envelope. the plastic box part had simply come off the cardboard. This isn't a huge deal, but I don't want the sock locks to get broken, and the inner packaging coming apart increases the possibility of that happening.

NO MORE MISMATCHED SOCKS!
I love these Loc A Sok Sock Locks and only wish I had discovered them years ago! I highly recommend them to anyone that does not like to sort socks. These locks work as advertised and are quite a timesaver. I keep a small container by my laundry basket and just insert socks into the holders before they go into the basket. The holders keep the socks together in the washer and the dryer, making folding and putting socks away a breeze! My friend, who turned me on to this wonderful product, just puts her socks away after washing them with the sock lock still on them. They work either way! This is such a useful product I am giving them to friends and family. Highly recommended!

Needs modification to use with thick socks
An easy modification is needed for thicker socks. I wear a leading brand of diabetic socks, size large. It was too hard to push a sock past the barbs, for any reasonable length, and I wondered if the stress on the fabric would eventually damage the socks. I removed all the barbs on a few of these sock-locks as an experiment and they still work quite well. I push each sock about half its length through the loop easily. I've run the modified sock-lockers with thick socks for several pairs and no sock has escaped from its "locker" yet. I lowered my overall rating because the lockers need modification to use with thicker socks, but they do work well as modified.

Work great!
The biggest challenge is making the habit of connecting your socks together AS YOU TAKE THEM OFF! Because it's no good having to sort socks BEFORE they go into the wash, any more than you want to sort them AFTER.I keep a little bowl of these on the top of my dresser; when I take off my dress socks (I don't bother with athletic socks), I pop them into a clip and toss them into the hamper. I pull the clip off as I put the laundry away. It definitely saves digging around looking for sock mates!
