Good capsules taking for sore joints bit early to say whether they are helping, I will carry on taking them

The best way to take turmeric is to go out and buy the raw product and then eat it raw with your food. However, that means that you have to take the time to peel it and you will get yellow-stained fingers in the process. If you want to avoid that then the next best way is to take measured doses in capsules - and this is where this product comes in.The capsule is not too big and should be taken with a drink (minimum) and the better way is to have a small snack to make sure that the capsules go all the way down.Coming in a resealable packet there is a bit of a smell to the capsules - which is weird because fresh turmeric doesn't really have a smell. Similarly there is a slight taste to the capsules, nothing big, and if you don't swallow it with something then there is a chance that the capsule will stick and repeat - so take a drink with it.Overall, I am disappointed with the price. For the content it seems a bit expensive. However, worth taking the risk for a month supply.

Each capsule contains 500mg and their recommended dosage is two per day (1000mg) so they will only last two weeks with two of us taking them but, at just £12 per month (two packs) for two of us, we think these are not bad value.

Turmeric helps my knee joints. I have a bad knee and a damaged knee at the moment, and whilst it doesn't do much for my damaged knee it works wonders for my bad knee.I like to take turmeric alongside glucosamine for the best effect. I forget I have a bad knee on this regimen, until I try stopping taking them, then I remember how painful my knee can be, so I start taking them again.Serrapeptase also works well for me, but it is really difficult to get hold of nowadays, so I stick to my turmeric.I work as an exam invigilator, and a few years ago I couldn't bend over far enough to pick up a piece of paper that a student had dropped during the exam without screaming in pain and gripping onto their desk for support, no a good thing to happen during an exam, good job it was a mock. I'm one of the younger invigilators so it wasn't great that I was having to ask pensioners to pick up dropped papers for the students as it was too much for me!These are good value at £5.99 (at the time of writing) for 2 months supply, definitely worth the lack of pain to me. They are average sized capsules, so easy enough to swallow, and I find them tasteless and odourless with no aftertaste, but I don't have the best sense of smell.
