DC 12V 0.6RPM 6mm Shaft Low Speed High Torque Turbine Worm Gear Motor

Great little motor. Used to rotate capacitor in mag loop antenna. Slow enough to make it easy to resonate the antenna. And strong enough to rotate a large variable capacitor.

This is by far the perfect motor for remote control of the tuning capacitor of a magnetic loop transmitting antenna. Reduce the voltage for fine tuning and still have plenty of torque.

I've ordered 10 of these motors over the past couple years in a mix of the 2 RPM and 0.6 RPM versions.One failed to run after about a two-minute test run; it just stopped and that was it. Another would run correctly for a couple days and then stop. Jiggling one of the motor terminals would get it working again until it decided to stop again. Both of those motors were returned and refunded without a problem.The motors are mounted in the cab of trucks at work for a specific purpose I won't bother describing here. They're subject to dust, a rough ride, and the vehicles are parked outside year-around, so they get cold in the Minnesota winter and hot in the summer. The motors are not under heavy load when running, but they do have to work a little bit.Of the remaining eight motors, two are spares and still new, ready as replacements in case any of the others currently in service fail. That leaves six. Of those, one failed after a year and around 3000 hours of run time. Two others lasted two years and roughly 6000 hours. The other three are still in service after just over two years and still working fine.Overall, these are decent motors for the price, but hook them up before the final install in whatever project you're using them for. Let them lie there and run a good 15 minutes, and an hour would be better. Start and stop them a few times during the test run. If they're still working at that point, it's been my experience that they will probably last and run well for you for a long time and give you your money's worth.

I had ordered 2 of these twice but received TSINY both times. They may look the same buy are not. The Bemonoc is built a little better. The Bemonoc has only one wear (plastic) gear and the TSINY has two.

Arrived promptly. Small, yet stronger than expected. Well built. Easy to mount. I'm using it to power a solar tracker on a small PV panel.

I purchased the 12V 0.6RPM motor a few months back for a project I have been working on. I tested the motor a few times to ensure it ran properly, but each test was less than 30 seconds. When my project was complete I wired the motor to the 12V battery (the same one I was using for each test) and let it run without any load to determine the run time of the battery. I was checking it every 15 minutes and after a few hours the motor had stopped so I assumed the battery had died. After charging the battery, I reconnected the motor but nothing happened. I tested other batteries with no results and finally tested the motor with my multimeter set to "ohms" and discovered that the motor had failed.Unfortunately, because of the amount of time my project took I can no longer return the motor but I will be purchasing another one to give it a second chance because my project is designed around this motor but I have very low expectations after this motor failed after minimal use.

Good geardrive but the rpm is 3 not 0.6 like ordered and I needed 0.6
