Design House 538348 Calisto Wall Mounted Towel Bar Accessory, Satin Nickel, 30-inch

I bought 7 of these hooks to install over 7 windows in my living room. I hung stained glass panels on the hooks, and it looks great. I was looking for something that wasn't an ordinary hook and when I found these, I decided to order them. They are very sturdy and hold the panels easily. I would recommend these hooks not just for robes but other uses.

Item showed up and was as described. Like the other items I read about from Design House, this oil rubbed bronze (ORB) item was very dark and not the light brown some companies try to sell as ORB. However, depending on your current ORB fixtures, these may be too dark. I would say they are more black than dark, dark brown. As stated in other reviews, the underlying color is the "copper" tone and not the "brassy or gold" like some ORB, something to note if you already have some ORB fixtures or accessories. We were happy with this color. Some companies seem to put scratches or wear marks all over the finish, this company only "scratches" the finish on corners, so the color looks more solid than like a worn piece of hardware. We purchased this towel bar along with a hand towel ring, and recessed TP holder. All items matched each other well. The one thing this company could work on is packaging. Products come in plastic packaging with cardboard backs, but are loose inside. All of th products seemed to have rubbed through the plastic somewhere, and some of them had "scuff marks" on them. Nothing that required a return...but its nice when you don't have to buff scratches out of a brand new item. Mounting was easy with the template on the back of the package, and the mounting system/hardware makes it a breeze to get the bases snug to the wall. Works well so far.

Really like the mounting hardware for drywall installation, even a caveman could do it.

HTF and great 4 foot towel bar great clean lines. Sturdy and brought my ugly 1970s bathroom into this century!

This towel bar was perfect for our space. Wide enough to accommodate two folded towels, or large towel unfolded to dry. Easy to install, it has a slender profile but sturdy for heavy bath towels. We like the more generous width.

I love these. They look great in our master bathroom. They were easy to install and look good!
